Sounds like you guys who don't squat and deadlift on the same day have seperate days for squats and/or deadlifts where that's all you do.
I personally like to have a day just for biceps.

I personally like to have a day where I don't lift. Basically what happens is that I just don't go to the gym that day.

i'd say do it if you have the energy after squatting.
and if you DO deadlift, id do sumo deads personally

Rippetoe's and Madcow's programs both advocate squat and deadlifts on the same day. Like chaddukes said it just depends on your strength level/experience.

squats and use SLDL as well as front squats as accesory lifts on your leg day..... 2 sets moderate reps of SLDL and front squats 5 sets low reps of squats.

Yes.
I personally do RDL or SLDL with my ham workout, on leg day and conventional deadlifts on back day.
