First time competing, INBF-WNBF right fit?
Well i have decided to take the plunge into my first show. Im looking to do a show in the spring time so that i have ample time to get ready. I just wanted to know if anyone could help me out with the schedule for some shows, if the INBF-WNBF is the right fit for me and any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Congrats on your first competition. The INBF is fully-tested. Each athlete undergoes a polygraph to establish that they are at least 7 years drug-free and class winners are then urine tested. Contest coverage appears in Natural Bodybuilding & Fitness magazine.
You can check out inbf.net for upcoming comps in 2010. Where do you live?

Mid America!
What kind of a promoter would I be if I didnt throw a shameless message-board plug towards the Mid-America? HA! We're in Evansville, IN. We've had some folks from PA drive in for the show. Check out the INBF calendar...there are shows all over the place and to be honest, I would pick the show based more on your calendar and timetable. The location is secondary to making sure you are on stage at the right time, in the best shape possible. Give yourself plenty of time to diet and prep for this.

What separates the INBF and WNBF from the rest is the fact that it represents the best in natural bodybuilding. If Indiana is too far, then you could also consider a trip to Columbus, Ohio for the Buckeye Classic on April 17. www.NaturalBuckeyeClassic.com
There is also the Cardinal Classic in Youngstown, Ohio which is in September.

It's definitely worth the trip and the rooms are more than affordable. We have many traveling in this next year. Plus, the novice division has two divisions split into lightweight and heavyweight at our show which will be a nice improvement for first-timers.

Awesome! With your thickness, balance and some nasty conditioning you could certainly challenge. It will most definitely be a battle.
Both of you fellas shoot me an email if interested and I will add you to our distribution list: rich@richbodyfit.com

Depending on how central PA you are there is a spring NJ show (central). Great first show experience.
Sorry Sean but EVV already got the hook - so a girl has to circle the wagons ;-)

You have to be 7 years clean from your last dose, even if it was only for two weeks.
