How do you like to train?
Do you like to train like a mentalist? Do you like to socialize at the gym? Do you listen to music? Do you chillout and do your sets, then relax some more?
I like to listen to podcasts and take my time in the gym, resting between sets so I can push hard in each rep!

ill talk to people i competed with that also workout at my gym/people i met at the gym..but ill limit it to a short chat....then right back to set....ill take enough time between sets so i can hit each set hard...and i did listen to pump up music..but ive found out lately that i can concentrate better without music blaring in my ear..only thing i use it for now is leg day

I like to train with music because my gym can be distracting with the tv's and the techno music and everyone talking, i need something to help zone it all out.

I tend to only hear music during the cardio, when im lifting I just focus in what im doing and sometimes chat with my trainer between sets every now and then.

Most of the time i use my ipod to block out the girly music they play in the gym. Also the people i go with tend to talk alot so it helps me concentrate more in lifting rather than getting into a conversation with them.

I always just put my ipod on to some metal/good pump up songs and focus on feeling the "stretch and movement" of the muscle being worked.

Music, Social if they talk to me first, If no one then I'm in the Zone.
I workout at night so the gym is dead. Day time is for agility.

Training with a friend helps my motivation. when I'm doing the lift though I just focus on getting work done and think about how good it'll feel after.
