Progress pictures
It has been more than a year since I last posted anything on the forums.
So here's an update:

Mar 30, 2006 - 59kg/130lbs

Mar 17, 2007]

Oct 17, 2009 - 82kg/180lbs
It took me 3.5 years to get to where I am right now...kinda slow don't you think?
http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/Ev...n=progresspics
Any comments would be great!

Well done, and no that's not slow progress at all. People tend to get all crazy about gaining #'s when the amount of lean muscle your body can put on, with a perfect diet and perfect training, is something like 2pounds a month naturally. The rest is water/fat etc etc.
BB is a way of life, there's no quick anything that's done right.

Yeah, I admit my chest is lacking. That's because I never push hard on my flyes. So I was in the gym a few weeks ago and the gym owner who is a competitor told me to remove my shirt and he started critiquing me, saying my chest and lats lack volume and told me to push harder on my flyes and lat pull downs.
Thanks everyone but I really need some harsh critiques!

Reps for dedication. I wouldn't cut yet but if it's a concern to you then maybe just drop the cals for a little bit. If it were me, I'd keep bulking.

you want us to insult you?
why just flies? they are only for outer regions of muscle. imo you should also do a better job on flat and incline bench.
what's your routine?

Ive been able to pull off some crazy gains and transformation with my body, not sure how. hard work and diet. I put on 4 pounds a week straight and still gaining. Except now I started taking creatine and BSN True Mass, so I hope to see better gains if not the same. Will see how it goes

Well, presses are a must, just that I stopped going heavy on the flyes since I had a subluxated left shoulder last year after a game of water polo. But even now my left shoulder is still unstable, I try to go heavier by 10lbs on the flyes.
All exercises 3-5 sets, 8-12 reps. But if I increased my weight, I'll go 6-8 reps. Sometimes I do drop weight, sometimes I go up the pyramid.
MON: CHEST - Incline BB press, Incline DB press, Flat DB press, Incline flye, Flat flye
TUE: BACK - BB row, Lat pull down, Pull ups, one arm DB row, seated cable row
WED: SHOULDER - BB shoulder press, side laterals, front raises, rear raises, DB shrug
THUR: REST
FRI: ARMS - BB curl, DB curl, concentration curl, high cable curl, close grip bench press, skullcrushers, dips, rope tricep extensions
SAT: LEGS - Squat, Deadlift, Leg press, Leg extensions, Leg curls.
SUN: REST

Well, I've seen other people in BB.com managed to get from twig to a swole tank in 3 years, I'm almost reaching my 4th year of training and I am still not comparable to them.

your routine is not good.
incline bb and incline db are the same thing
and i don't know why do you need flies two times
also you have too much packed in one day for one muscle, and therefore cannot develop your muscle properly, since it is to tired.
try 3 or 4 kinds of exercises
========
example:
Always do:
- db press incline (could be substituted with bb incline press, but not both exercises on the same day)
- db press flat (could be substituted with bb flat press, but not both exercises on the same day)
throw in one or two of these:
- Flies
- dips
- pec deck
don't do cable crossovers. that's just for definition
hope i helped. good luck!

Thanks for the sincere advice bro, but my gym doesn't have a pec dec, that's why I do 2 flyes. Only 3-4 exercises? That means I need to increase the number of sets? Plus, my shoulder is weak and I can't really support my weight on the dips, I could do a few reps of dips but after that my shoulders would ache like it's gonna explode.

tough situation, brah
instead of dips you could do decline db press. that is, if you have the proper bench. some people in my gym do it on the abs bench.
oh yeah. don't increase the number of sets. you were already tiring your chest muscles to much
