when you say decline pushups...is that feet up or hands up on the bench or whatever you are propping them on?
You are not permitted to have (mentally)tough workouts this week...Last week was tough workout week...

We all have days when we're hard-pressed to lift what was previously relatively no problem. Peaks and valleys, I guess. What matters is getting the work done.

Decline Push-Ups: Feet on bench, Hands on floor.
Ha! ok!
I know it happens sometimes to have a less than stellar workout.
(perhaps I should think of including 'De-Load' workouts into my training)

You're right.
All that matters is getting the work done.....and 99% of the time, I do this
I was thinking if maybe it would be a good idea to bring in De-Load work into my training.

Pleased with this workout! Feeling Pumped, Strong, and Forceful!
*sigh*
I will be going through a hard, emotional weekend.
Some bits of frustration with my sister (going to her youngest 4y/o b-day party tomorrow)
She has made some decisions that I Do Not agree with.
After her visit with me,(sat) and hearing about her terms, thoughts, actions, and junk with divorcing her husband...I am NOT looking forward to the party, and knowing this is the last time as 'a family' in her/his home with the kids *sad*.
I am not accepting her choices (too many to mention)...in fact I am quite shocked she has become this way. ( too much to mention).
Ah, heck!
I don't know if I will cry at the party and or say what's on my mind.
For the sake of my parents and not upsetting them...I have to contain myself....I will try.
Tonight. *gulp*
Tonight is Evan's Last High School Football Game...Ever!
It's 'Parents Night'.
All Seniors in sports, band, cheerleader will walk the Football Field with their parents and will be announced for the last time.
OMG I am going to be holding back tears!
I've thought of this moment ever since I had Evan...and Now It's Here!
Wow!
Hard, Tuff Weekend!

I think it's a start to a beautiful friendship!
Really though, I am pleased with the 'feel' and exertion it puts on my legs/quads.
The grip I use, does put strain on my arms/biceps, but I will over look that and concentrate on my legs only.

How does the rest of the family feel about your sisters decisions? Wouldnt be a good idea to speak your mind if she has everyone else as an alliance. May be better off to pull her aside, or set up some sort of meeting ground,..maybe for coffee or something and tell her you care about her and her decisions and if she would be open to hear you out. This way your comments would be better recepted. my .02$

It's just as difficult, mentally, to train all week with pink dumbbells as it is to go in there, and train all-out.

That's a ton of arm Joan, looks great.
I hope your sister is making the right decision. I know you've been really concerned about her. I'm not sure of all the events, but I get a vibe it's one of these "she thinks the grass will be greener..." and I hope she doesn't regret her decision in the future.
Last football game for Evan oh my goodness! This is making me teary eyed...our babies just grow up too fast...I miss my babies.
You'll be in my thoughts.

Wow! What a great night we all had together!
Not even the rain put a damper on our evening.
I am so proud of Evan....since he was born I have had such a loving and fun time with him.
and now last night, more of the same!
I thought I would be very emotional (crying) being this is Evan's last game at CHS.
but I think I got that all our of my system these past weeks leading up to this night(and the final days of HSchool).
And I am Now looking forward in sharing Evan's Adult Life together....more Fun to come!!!
I didn't cry, In Fact, I was beaming from ear to ear.
My glowing exterior of Pride and Happiness shown through to the newspaper photographer....SERIOUSLY!
I 'willed' him over to Us.
As we all were lined up on the football field...all us parents and senior children...I caught a look at the photographer...and just smiled and thought to self: "oh please come to us and take our photo for the newspater."
AND HE DID!
LOL
I had two great surprises/gifts from Evan last night.
One: I learned that he will be making plans on attending Erie Pennsylvania Triangle Tech for Drafting. Yesss!
Second: Evan caught an interception and ran it all the way for a 30yr Touchdown!! Whoo-Hoo!

It's complicated...because my sister, doesn't want anyone against her...and I don't like the fact that she spills all her problems on our parents...they are loving and sweet and would not want to 'go against' her. (hard to explain)
I don't' know what my two sisters think.
I know my brother has the same feelings as I do...and we don't agree with her actions and choices. at all!
I think one day...soon...I will tell her exactly how I feel.
I just hope this doesn't put stress on my parents.
Again hard to explain all the details.
I thank you for your .02$.....this means a lot to me
Hummm...your kind, smart AND incredibly built! Damn! lol

Absolutely Kim...you're right. That my sister thinks the grass will be greener. She is going to loose a lot! and I am upset she thinks this way...and at the expense of her children.
*sigh*
I'll keep ya posted on what else goes on.
I do miss the 'baby' in Evan...but I am very excited to share in he adult life! whoo! more fun!

A "Pick 6" in his last football game. That is awesome! Was this his 1st HS touchdown?
He will have that memory his whole life.

I had to correct my post: My son is wanting to attend Triangle Tech for drafting. not the Institute of Technology.

LOL! Ted Bundy
Congrats to Evan!!! What a way to end his HS career! That is awesome!
Sorry your sister is giving you heartburn. All we can do is support the ones we love and be there to pick up the pieces when things don't go right. We can't lead their lives for them. And we shouldn't let their problems become too much of our problems Tough to do I know.
As always, stellar workouts!
