Oh... I figured you were talking about blankets or dogs.
Sure is a heated post for a simple tatoo.
my next tattoo will be an afghan wrapped in an afghan being mauled by an afghan
while Afghan Whigs is playing in the background.

In the movie when the rodeo promoter tells him to shave is "dag gone" moustache so he'd look like an Eye-talian instead of a Muslim he tells him, "But I not muslim I Kazakhi, I follow the hawk" lol.

This scene kinda made me chukle:

I knew a girl who who worked at Channel 4 who Sacha Baron Cohen was contracted to. His initial contract was made up very badly, leaving a bunch of things he could have wriggled out of. The TV station asked him to re sign. He did for a cool 5 million Sterling (about $10M at the time), this was even before he was really famous.

He's done very well indeed.
Yeah, we started getting the TV show when he moved to HBO [a US cable channel]. I think the show [both HBO and channel 4] is actually better than the Borat and Bruno movies. One thing I like about the first season filmed in the UK were the laugh tracks!
Here's a consolidation of all of his UK clips

BTW: Sorry to drag this out. I'm off to bed soon and I want to leave this in today.
Apologies to both Kimberley and GBG.
I made my first post and then caught a post directly after which prompted my response, which was based in anger. On reflection I wasn't fair in singling you out, if posting at all in such a frame of mind and could have called out far worse posts. I'm really sorry.
Just wanted to put it here for the record. My sentiments on the subject remain, I just should have handled it better. I'll certainly take time to consider better if I'm in a similar situation again.

Class act? Nah, if I was, I would've considered my post better. It looked like a personal attack and that's very wrong for anyone to do to anyone, here or anywhere else, even if it wasn't intended. And especially to those I consider as friends here. I'm proud of sticking up for Kel, but this part has screwed my day.

Thank you.
*mwah* back atcha!
No worries mate... please do not let this mess up your day. Seriously, it is NOT that important.
It bothers me MORE that you would let this screw up your day, than what you said.
You were just speaking your feelings... you did not resort to mud slinging. Honestly, I would have let you know via PM if you were out of line.
I only read the first page of responses and looked at the concept.
To me, it looks like Arabic letters that are indecipherable to me. Before you told us that it meant "Afghan," I would have guessed it meant "Allah" or "Praise" or the like.
Tats are very personal, and to each his own, but I guess I'm more a fan of "tribal" type patterns that I can see and "understand" without needing to know a really unfamiliar language.

The bottom line for me is I don't think it will make a very good tattoo... nothing dramatic about it. Blobs of ink.
Then you have the whole...why....thing.
For the life of me, I can't understand why someone would put some strange word on their body and think it looks good without really knowing. You say your mom can read it but it looks strange.... You want something on your body that you mother says looks strange.
My wife is Japanese and I've lived over there for many years so I have some connection with that culture and language. When I see someone with a poor quality tattoo of some Japanese word, my thought is "That looks stupid."
For example, IF I were to put a tattoo of some Japanese writing on my body the word(s) would have to be very meaningful to me AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE TATTOO WOULD HAVE TO BE GOOD! It would be very embarrassing for me to see Japanese people see it and think.... "WTF is that!"
Reminds me of a sweatshirt I saw in Japan.... I see a guy walking down the street wearing a sweatshirt saying, "Social Intercourse" in big bold letters. He had no idea of what it said and didn't care....
Anyway.... If you're going to get a tattoo.... GET A GOOD TATTOO!!!!

Yes... very... but was not sure if that was a pickle in your pocket or not...
That was no pickle sweetheart! LOL

What would be the first thing that comes to mind when you see this? What feelings does it invoke? Please be completely honest, this is for a possible tattoo.
here's a simplified version w/o all the theatrics
Looks like letters to me.

Personally, like Rev. Wright, I don't think Jones is all that radical. They are certainly colorful in their speech, but that doesn't make them wrong. The Jones affair was more partisan hackery IMO.
