I was going to say something smart about there being snow for your wedding, but isn't it in the mid 80's there in Texas during the winter? I'm jealous.
Uh... congrats on the garden. This isn't GardenBuilder.com
This is BB.com, so start working out and posting some crap that we really care about... not all this nonsense about your life

I'll be getting back to the gym soon. I am missing it a lot, and I need to MAKE the time. I will probably do cardio for the most part and try to get back into a light lifting routine. My shoulder is ok at best and I'll always have to be carefull. I am in bed and asleep by 8:30 pm on most days...up at 4:30. I put in a lot of hours at work. I haven't been eating much, or eating well when I do, but I'll get a handle on that again. My weight is stable though. I have my daughter this weekend, my boys don't want to come see me. I will make it a special weekend for her. I have taken the kids...or a subset of the kids camping a couple times this summer. It was very nice. The pig roast was a huge success. We had around 40 people over and the pig was roasted to perfection. I have been working outside at the house a lot this summer. We were awarded garden of the month for September in our city...about 20,000 people. My fiance really works hard on the garden and outside of the house as well...she is a hard worker. We took a trip to St. Louis a couple weekends ago for a baseball game. We took historic route 66 for a lot of the drive and stopped in a couple places that were featured on the Food Network. It was a great trip. We were going to go to Memphis, but cut that out for the time being. We might try Memphis in May for the BBQ festivities.

Great update, Jon. Might as well quote it again for the new page.
I'm sure you'll get the workout stuff in order when time permits. It's good therapy, too, but one has to have a little time. If I recall correctly, your boys are older than your daughter. Probably at an age when they may like to stick with friends and their normal base of operations sometimes. It may take a while, but that stuff will likely work itself out over time. Your work at being an involved dad will pay off over time.
As for the bolded part of what I quoted, this must be quite a contrast. < /sarcasm >
All in all, good for you.

Thanks LNT.
It goes way beyond the age of the boys...12, and 11 on the 6th. Things always work out over time..so, I'll just do the best I can do and be ok with it.
Yes, it is quite the contrast..lol.

I would rather live my life as if there is a God, and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't, and die to find out there is.
I don't ask for much on my daily goals.....just one more rep than last time.
When you stand firm in your beliefs...the people who don't will pass in and out of your life...the ones who stand with you..those are your friends.

I went to the gym on Sunday....30 minutes of light cardio on the treadmill. I'm going to try to go 3-4 days a week.

As winter draws closer, the workout bug is starting to bite. I've been to the gym 3 days this week for some light cardio. 20 minutes at 4.0 is all I've been doing, but I need to get my cardio capacity up a little before I start lifting again.
I've been working at getting my diet back in order too. I'll start lifting again soon. I'm not going to start with much, but I'll work my way back into things as the winter progresses.
I've lost a lot of muscle mass since April..but it will come back.
