Welcome To the 2009-2010 Big Game Contest
.

THE CONTEST: With the 2009-2010 hunting season approching I figured why not have a little friendly competition. Lets so how can kill the biggest game!!! Contest Includeds. Whitetail, Mule, Moose, Elk, Hogs, Turkey, you name it.

The RUlES!
1. The winner of each catagory must provide a PICTURE of the kill with at least 2 of the 3 guidelines A)must prove that it was harvested in 2009-2010 B) Must have a picutre of you near animal to match your avaitor C)Sign pic Have a picutre of your harvest with a sign saying something like o hai misc outdoors. THIS WILL HELP TAKE AWAY ALL FRAUD
2.Limited one winner to all catagory (for example you can not win more then one catagory)
3. JUST HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE

I hope people are interested in this and will participate!!

I would also like to say i will be adding reps to who ever wins each catagory to i know its not much but if anyone else would like to join in the rep give to the winner just tell me!!!

I reluctantly put up an avatar for this thread, all I have for proof that the bull was shot this season is the tag receipt. The head is at the taxidermist, and the meat at the butcher. If it doesn't qualify that's ok, I just like the opportunity to see what everyone got this year, and show off my first big game kill of the year.

This bull was taken Friday Sept 25/09 in Southern Alberta. He is a 6X7 and we rough scored him at 340'' The official scoring isn't until around Feb. and that's when I should get the head back. We called him in to 35 yards where I got him with my 7mm rem mag. after 8 days of hunting.

holy crap brah nice kill.... as for the whole proof thing we can work those details out later you have a whole year til its judgement time... all you really have to do is take a pic of the head when its back from the taxi just put like a spoon infront of it and the tag date. Plus I believe ya anyways..... But again Great kill thats a nice way to start off the year

I love pig hunting. I bagged me at least 20 last year alone in southern florida. Got them all with my AR, my 357 and my 270. I still have yet to kill one with my hands yet though =/ I will though before I die

We usually go a few times a year on a family friends ranch here in Ca.

They arent huge, but great meat pigs, the biggest one we got out of there last year was ~250lbs.

Ya its kind of the same down in southern florida where I went. We hunted a Orange grove and there would be pack of like 20-30 of them. The best eating pigs every nomnomnom!!!

I tried killing one up in northern florida witha shovel but mother pig and others came to the rescue and treed me =/ one of those days I hated myself for forgetting to carry my side arm

LOL, some of those pigs are freakin mean!

We went hunting a when i was 12 or 13 with an older guy, he was in his 70's that used to hunt pigs in the Philippines when he was a kid. He used to use a knife and a .22 pistol crawling through the brush on his hands and knees lol. He was a hell of a tracker though, and could probably out hike just about anyone I know. He had some gnarly scars from getting caught up with pigs.

my dad shot a mulie two days ago, but i had class and couldnt join

but i got one with archery 2 years ago...

his was a nice 6x4 with a few long kickers.

mine was a 4x4 22" shot at 73 yards with my hoyt

those are some of my trophies

and this is the mulie my dad shot in Idaho on friday

thats my rifle btw, remington 700 sendero 7mm STW, 200 yrd shot, die on the spot

and the feeder is empty lol, he shot it spot and stalk, 6 miles of hiking that day, wasnt shot over a feeder hahaha.
