burpees are the shhhhht! I like modifying them to a chirpee. When you jump up you do a pull up. SUPER fun! Or a quirkee. after the push-up you swing your legs through and jump up to your feet. or a box jump burpee where on the jump up you do a box jump!! SUPER DUPER FUN!
I think your pics look great! Love the action shots. Work sounds busy..how annoying ;-)

Shopping with the hubs sounds like a lot of fun
Have you replaced the battery in your monitor? Mine did wouldn't register my numbers either when it needed a new one.

I tried the burpee box jump thing the other day - not too bad - Maybe I will bump up the size of the box next time

I think I may need to replace the battery. Might upgrady my bodybugg though instead of messing with the Polar - I liked it when I was using it, and now there are sleeker models (thinner under clothes) and I think I might just go for that!

Monday!
Had a good weekend - Friday morning did a workout, went to work, then went to my sister's house for the weekend. Didn't do much that evening, I was tired, then the next day helped around the house to prepare for my nephew's bday party that afternoon. He is 5 and getting so big!! Sunday I did a little shopping at bath and body works and bought some candles, hand soap, fuzzy socks aaaand what else....oh, the smellie plug ins. Went grocery shopping then came home and picked up the kitchen a little.
Today I didn't get up early enough to workout, so I will go after work.
I ate a lot of crap this weekend...
Feeling pretty strong though, weight isn't changing much, but I feel like my legs are firmer. My abs seem a little squishy, and I think I can probably increase moderate cardio to work on that. Just haven't been getting much extra moving in.
Thinking of upgrading my bodybugg, and that always helps me with the motivation to burn cals - I love seeing their little reports! I guess I like data and to be able to see real numbers (even if they aren't exact, it is a 'report' of cals in cals out.
I am home right now for lunch, but gotta get back to work. Hope you all have a great week!

Hello everyone - thought I would recover my journal from page three
My sister decided last minute to get married! She has been with her BF for 10 years, she has one kid who is five, and wants another - so thought she would do it 'right' this time and get married first. So she called me and said she wants to get married on Nov. 14, so I made time this past weekend to go help her with the details - we did so much! Friday after work, finalized her dress, bought mine, got her some acessories, and planned what we needed to do. Saturday and Sunday we ordered the cake, finalized the guest list, made and printed invitations, then stuffed and mailed them, ordered flowers, made a schedule for the day of the wedding, got a photographer, assigned people ways they could help the day of...I think that is it...but we are pretty prepared! I still have to do a program for the wedding and a slideshow. Exciting, but dang, lots of work! I am glad we went to Mexico to get married, it was so easy and stress free and perfect!
Probably needless to say, I ate about all of my meals out this weekend - felt super carb bloated. I think I am still waiting for some of it to go down.
Work is still super busy, not getting time to go to workout at lunch, so workouts are really lagging and I am getting squishy - again. I am so busy, I rarely even get a chance to have any sort of eating break at work! Today I didn't get to eat until 3:45pm when I was driving in the car to a meeting, which was cancelled, so I COULD have had a break and ate, but I didn't know in advance!
About it for now - just thought I would save me from page three!

Hey girl! Well thanks for the update! That's so exciting about your sister... and nice of you to help her so much with all the details! Sometimes I wish we just did the destination-wedding thing... you're right, easy and stress free is what it's all about! haha.
Hopefully things at work slow down for you a bit... I know being that busy can be frustrating!
