It's either they need me to buy $800 software, or this or that...so hopefully there are enough people that peek in my journal that someone will offer to help set up my website for me. If anyone is interested, send me a PM and we can work something out.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Tommy,
I was wondering if you ever did a specific leg program(Smolov or other squat specialty programs) to bring the squat numbers up? Or did you just train and train throughout the years and the numbers eventually added up?
Thanks for your input because I really want to break through the squat barrier, but don't want to focus solely on the program(Smolov), considering it is very taxing on the body/joints.
I am a bodybuilder, but sometimes train PL style for fun if that helps also.

Diet
Fat: 60g
Carbs: 270g
Protein: 270g
Calories: 2700cals
Supplements
Now Foods Adam Multi-Vitamin: 1 serving daily at breakfast
Scivation Essential-FA: 3 caps breakfast; 3 caps lunch; 3 caps dinner
Scivation Sesamin: 3 caps breakfast; 3 caps lunch; 3 caps dinner
Scivation VasoCharge: 2 scoops 30-40mins pre-workout
Scivation Chocolate Whey: per convenience to hit protein numbers
Scivation Xtend: 2 scoops 30-40mins pre-workout; 6 scoops intra-workout
Primaforce Beta Alanine: 2 scoops intra-workout

Primaforce Cissus: 2 caps breakfast; 2 caps dinner
Primaforce Insopro-R: 3 caps post-workout meal
Primaforce ZMA: 3 caps bedtime
I'm gong with an iso-caloric approach right now - just hitting numbers and getting back into the swing of things really. No cardio, just diet control. Body weight is still coming down bit by bit ever so slowly. Kept the workout yesterday short and sweet as it was a long day and was in the gym much later than normal. Today was an off day and hopefully I will hook back up with Ryan and possible John tomorrow for some heavy chest and back work. Got yet ANOTHER new phone (iPhone was stolen at airport on way back from Olympia) so for those of you who have my number - I don't have yours! Text me and let me know who it is!
The Olympia was awesome. The workouts were even better! The day after I was at Gold's with Layne and Peanut (Paul) and the top 3 from the Olympia was there taking photo shoots. Nice motivation right there! Although, it just made me laugh to think people think I use steroids...I mean, I might look big at a local gym, but these guys are HUGE slabs of beef! I had an awesome leg day there...did some pendulum hack squat machine with 8 plates on each side (as many as it would hold) for 10 reps, SLDL'd 405 for 10 reps, and to top it all off, they had a glute/ham raise machine Needless to say it was hard standing at the booth the next day! I'm glad to be back though...had a great time and now it is crunch time before the wedding!

I never did any specific leg squat program at all. I've just done the simple approach over a long period of time myself. I thin ktraining like a powerlifter is great for bodybuilding, so if you decide to do an approach like that, I think it's great!

Hey Tommy!
I had to tell you...
I'm in Orlando now, and I was chatting with a guy from NY who's a 19 year old competitive bodybuilder. We were talking about the who inspires us and who we'd like to look like and he said, "I don't know if you've heard of him, but I saw Tommy Jeffers on Inside the Life, and I think he has the most amazing physique. I would kill to look like him".
Thought you'd like to hear it...that even when a Canadian and a New Yorker meet in Florida, your name can still be tossed around (ps. he thinks i'm a g-d because i know you, lol)

Not to much say other than HOLY F! My glutes were balling up after the first set of walking lunges - after the last set, I could have walked right out and called it a day! Good workout, the lunges were brutal - but nothing makes my legs hurt worse than those. Diet is on point and I am back into the routine for now - that is, until my bachelor party Hope all is well!

Thank you very much guys for all the well wishes! We are about to hit the sack because we have a long day of flying tomorrow. It's a surprise for Kera until the airport, but I booked a week in Bora Bora, Tahiti I'm not sure if I'll have any contact with the outside world considering we will be in our own hut with our own pier out in the ocean! But I will update with pics and what not when we get back and settled!
Thanks again everyone and I'll be talking with you all again soon!

under no obligation to answer this question, but her goes
do u find marrying a figure competitor was what you'd envisioned? i mean i guess i could see how dating someone who lives that bodybuilding type lifestyle could make jiving together all that much easier. then i know other people who think being too similar like that creates a situation where one's comps or accomplishments overshadows the spouse that's in the off-season and it's a back and forth cycle, etc. that doesn't go too well. just your take on anything related to the above. congrats on the marriage btw.

I'm obviously not Tommy, nor have I ever met him or Kera in person. But it seems like they are in it for the right reasons and both happen to have a similar passion. I would think that in a good relationship it would be easier to help each other with prepping and everything because they would be more understanding to each others wants and needs in each season. Of course this would bethe ideal situation. Not sure if it helped or not, but it's something I've thought about since my girlfriend wants to get into figure competitions

It was simply AMAZING. Once I get all the pictures sorted out, I will post some. You know how when you see a postcard or advertisement of some tropical places and they photoshop the water to me more clear and blue? Well, the water here was really that clear and blue!

LOL - hey man, you gotta do what you can! I've been wanting to go there for a long time, so I just made it happen for this particular occasion.

I could write forever about this topic. Thing is, Kera didn't start competing until after we started dating and she supported me through my contest season - then she did it the next year. Kera and I are best friends and we are perfect for each other. Because we both put the other one first and give more than we expect in return, any kind of lifestyle either of us chooses to live will work. The key is not in the lifestyles being too similar or different enough for the "opposites attract" notion. The key is to first be competely secure with being alone...only then are you ready for a real relationship with anyone. Then you just have to give more to the relationship than you expect to receive. Everything beyond that is cream cheese.

It's actually wonderful...when you are with the right person that puts the same effort into making it work asa you do, things are just so much easier...
