Football Player Workout

Im am almost done with my senior year playing college football. I am an offensive lineman, and i want to loose some weight. I am wondering what workout might be good to do since i want to slim down from being 255 to somewhere around 235. I do not want to loose all the weight in a short period of time, so i think by march i should be able to get down to the weight i want to be at. So any suggestions for a workout would be great, thanks.

You could ask your coach/fitness instructor etc who ever is in charge of your workouts to best lose the weight while keeping your strength for football. Other then that i wouldn't know wait for the more experienced guys to reply

How come you want to lose weight? 255 sounds like a pretty nice weight for OL. Though if you want to lose the weight, work on creating a great diet that you can follow. A great diet is crucial for weight loss. I'd also start doing some HIIT during the days you dont lift, there really isn't any weight lifting program that targets weight loss.
