Approaching a girl - taking her out - inviting her out etc

Ok guys, so I'm in a little mood to change a few things - mix the scene up a bit and get a bit more interesting

I don't know about you guys, but if I think back in the last 6 months, every girl I've had a little thing with and if I think to the first time I asked her out...it's always been a damn restuarant!

Now I've got my eyes on a new girl I've just met in the last few days and the other night I saw her and invited her to join me to...yea you guessed it...a restuarant. She agreed but I was just thinking...man it's boring, I always invite them out to a freakin' restuarant.

Sooo my question...

When you meet a chick - you like her - you want to get to know her more...where do you usually invite her out the first time?

Maybe just something random, let's go for a walk...

I don't want to do restuarants any more on first outings...it's getting boring for me ;p

Any idea's peeps?

invite her to something you are doing on a weekend or a place you go where lots of people you know hang out.

I know im not in the position to be giving advice to someone who is 25 and has actual experience, but ive been thinking of asking a girl and doing just that. What's holding me back is I don't have a license/car and I don't always have things going on I can invite people to.

Hah, dude don't think about it...just ask her out - period. The more you think, the more when that moment comes you've got her to yourself, you'll choke...a bit

That's speaking from experience - more you think, more chances you'll **** up

You don't need to ask to somewhere where "something" is happening - if she goes to your college or something, invite her to because you've got some "questions you think she could help you out on" - to the local bar or something

Ok there, I've done it...invite her to a place with "food" inside haha

No seriously, don't think too much dude - just next time you see be spontaneous and tell that chick to join you...to..duh duh...duh duh meaning...make up some bull**** reason...like I need your advice on something

She'll say yes

Don't just invite her for no reason...make up some reason - no matter how dumb it is

First of all, I never ask girls out. I TELL them that we're going out.

For example, my girlfriend.
We worked together at the time, and I walked in one day and told her I was taking her to a movie tonight. She said, "which one"? This is usually what happens.

For a first date, it can be anything where you can talk and get to know each other better. It's not the scene of the date, but the way you approach it. You can make any place fun depending upon your demeanor.

Go to a coffee house!! Girls love that stuff! Especially if you don't know her well.

Call her setup a dinner date proceed to flake on her, and when she calls tell her you already ate and that you should grab a drink.

first thing, why would you wanna go sit down face to face with someone for over an hour and eat dinner. These dates go bad because you do not have enough rapport or comfort to honestly keep conversation going. Just invite her for a coffee and go from there. If convo is going well proceed to do something after. Start small and work up.

Gym, get ice cream, have candy at the mall, walk for fitness along some shore/place to walk. Tell her to come over, you will have a snack, have jello/ice cream or something she likes, then head out for a walk.
Be confident like you own the city, smile, make jokes, laugh at her, kindly.

This coming from a dude that hasn't done it in almost a year.
