Best Piece of advice you got from another forum or BB.com member.
I can remember mine which still holds true to this day,..back in my noob stage wanting to compete,..I was very ambitious and kept asking the many questions a noob would be expected to ask,..mostly about supplements, creatine, NO products,..and if they all were worth the expense. After much patience with the forum members in the Contest prep section,..someone chimed in,...I forget his screen name but his comment has stuck with me til this day,..He said it quite bluntly,..Son,..instead of trying to find the magic formula of supplements and all the expense that comes with it,..Hire yourself a trainer,..qualified one, and take it from there,..ever since then I did just that,..the rest is history.
Now whats your lesson learned?

train one large and one small body part per day.
train two on,one off.
exchange treadmill for elliptical.
eat 6-7 times a day, low carb, moderate fat, high protein.
i was stale for so long and afraid to change anything for fear of what may happen. then i met this certain someone, and my life changed for the better not only physically but other ways too.
if you are reading this you know who you are. i know i've thanked you a bunch of times before, but honestly there are no words to describe what you mean to me.

There have been many: "I didn't see my arms grow until I gave them their own day" is the latest gem, honestly I must have read that a year ago, just put into practice a couple weeks ago.

Probably the most valuable advice I've gotten so far, is to up my protein intake to 2 grams per pound of bodyweight. I was training hard, but not giving my body enough protein to work with. Once I adjusted my diet, I started gaining mass.

Best advice I got was from my good friend/trainer Sean Sullivan. A few years back I had come off of 6 shows and I was totally burnt out. He told me, "Kim, it's ok to take a break, don't forget how to enjoy life and have fun...after all it's only bodybuilding."

I've got two:
Lukamar told me that there's a lot of smoke and mirrors.
Kevin (DBX) told me (in so many words) to stop being a d1ckhead.
Still working on that one.....

LMAO That's a hard one to get over for most of us! With years of practice under our belts, being a "dickhead" is a difficult thing to overcome!!!!!

It wasn't directed at me but someone's tagline was "If I don't go I won't grow." I love that on the few days where I don't feel like going to the gym.

LOL! I can think of a plenty of d1ckheads here and your not one of them
Oh. I'm still learning and haven't gotten my best advice until recently and it's not just one thing but what helps me the most when I think I can't push any harder. 90% is in your head if you focus hard enough anything is possible.
Still working on it.

You are an athlete. Pain is the price you pay for excellence.
This is not to say that you must get injured, but rather that you must accept the fact that there will be pain. This is a fact of life. Only the dead feel no pain. But being an athlete is about sacrifice, and sacrifice itself is suffering of a sort. And the athlete who sacrifices the most will triumph over lesser athletes. (see 'Today is victory over yourself of yesterday'). And when I say excellence, I do not simply mean to do well. When I use that term, I am using it in the old sence of the Greek Arete, "notion of excellence was ultimately bound up with the notion of the fulfillment of purpose or function; the act of living up to one's full potential. Arete in ancient Greek culture was courage and strength in the face of adversity and it was what all people aspired to."
So yes, some days it hurts. But the question is, and will always be, how badly do you wish to succeed? What do you aspire to? An athlete's physical performance is ultimately one of the highest expressions of their self worth.
What are you worth?
