i have been approached by a modeling agency and need to get cut up while gaining
i have never really been too strict with my diet because of my previous job and the kinds of calories i would burn at work and the gym in a day (close to 6000) i have been on a kind of powerlifting routine to get the big 3 up as high as possible and i sent some of my best pics to a modeling agency. I have an interview today after having to take 2 weeks off due to a back injury, the flu and a pulled groin. i now feel quite a bit better, have quit my hard jabour job and today is my second day back at the gym (today is chest and tri's) i am currently doing a 4 day split
legs one day, chest and tri's, core cardio, back and bi's, deltoids calfs and traps, deadlift and core, rest day
it's not always in that order but you get the picture, i do deadlift on a core day so i can focus on that lift which is among my favorites (i'm almost at a 400lb max) i was just wondering if there was a better program for the cutting. i alternate between dumbell and barbell weeks and stay around the 8-10 rep range and do a week of easy lifting after every month or so (12-15 reps).
i'm guessing my lack of gains is mainly from being un-sure what kinds of program i should be on and the inconsistency of the training types, just wondering if anyone has had the same types of issues and know's how to handle them.
