I am so in for junk food partaaaaaaay! I actually don't like DB reverse lunges. I used to do them on the Smith machine, which I loved... I'm just doing DBs right now for this program

I love Gold's! It's got so many more features than 24 Hour that I went to in Hawaii. Most of the girls there are just into cardio though, which just leaves all the hot gym boys for me

Phew, where does the time go? This weekend came and went in the blink of an eye! I got my workout in Fri night. Then I just relaxed with the puppers, finally watched the season premiere of House, and hung out. Got a good night's sleep. Did my V Burn Challenge Saturday AM and then went out to do some more shopping. I picked up a few cheap decorating things from Xmas Tree Shops, and also another storage ottoman. The main thing I wanted to get, I got at Walmart - $68 for a desk, filing cabinet and bookcase! Talk about a deal!! Got another full-length mirror since I broke the last one and a few other little things. Spent the afternoon putting together all the furniture and getting all that stuff set up.

Saturday night, I went and checked out Oktoberfest with the Meetup group. I was a little disappointed because it was so much more unorganized than the group in Hawaii I was used to. The 2 main organizers didn't show up and then the lady that gave me her number didn't show up either! So I was there, didn't know what anyone looked like, or where they would be, and didn't have anyone else's numbers. Luckily though someone found me. The group was ok, there was maybe 10-15 of us. I was definitely the youngest there, all the others were at least in there 40s. I had an ok time, just was hoping for something better. I'll still try to go to some other events and hopefully will make some decent friendships.

On Sunday, I did some more little decorating things here and there. Gave the puppers a bath and pretty much just hung out and took care of stuff around the apartment. It was my second cousins' (cousins' cousins lol) birthdays... they're all in September, so they just had one big family party thingy, so I went to that Sunday night. Always a good time with the fam!

This is a busy week. I was tired last night and Zeke is sick yet again, so I didn't do the gym last night. First he just had the runs and then he was throwing up I don't know what's wrong, but I know he can't get into anything because I don't have anything anywhere they can get to. I did see him eat a bug though, so maybe that's what caused it. I thought he was better later last night, but then I found more puke and runs this morning ugh. Other than that fun stuff, gym tonight tomorrow and Thurs, possibly going to Potsdam on Friday for work, and then I have to drive to my sister's in Troy Friday after work. Stay there Fri night, drive to Boston Saturday morning, Redsox game Saturday night, drive back to Cuse on Sunday. I'm excited about everything except for the driving part lol. I need to try to factor in laundry sometime this week to, but I don't know if that's going to happen lol.

I'm on transition for the V Diet, THANK GAWD!! One HSM per day this week, then 2 per day next week, then back to FOOD!! I've got more V workouts for these 2 weeks, then I'll just go play around in the gym for a little bit and figure out what I want to do next

It's not actually a Christmas store! It's a really cheap home goods type of store. They have everything from furniture to kitchenware to food to decorations, makeup, and yes... Xmas decorations It is hands-down my new favorite store!!




Just popping in real quick, things are crazy right now. Haven't been able to get all my workouts in this week, Zeke is sick. Got a vet appointment for this afternoon, really hoping they just give me some medicine and don't charge me an arm and a leg. Sick dogs are no fun This weekend will be fun, but brutal. Going to Potsdam all day tomorrow, that's 2.5 hours each way. So 5 hours for that. Then an additional 2.5 hours to my sister's tomorrow night. Then 3ish more hours to Boston Saturday morning. Then Redsox game Saturday night. Then 5ish hours back to Syracuse Sunday morning. Uhhh yeah, I'm not doing anymore driving for awhile after that. But I'm looking forward to hanging out in Boston, it's such a great city. Hopefully the game doesn't get rained out, it'll be my first time to Fenway Park!

I'm a little iffy on the CL stuff. CL was HUGE in Hawaii and I had no problems using it there, but it's pretty hit or miss here. Alot of the posts in that section aren't *really* looking for friends. But we'll see, maybe I'll give it a shot.

I'm still alive! Things have been so crazy busy. I have SO much work to do and I'm absolutely loving it! I'm learning so much, making lots of progress, and actually seeing projects move forward. It's so great especially because of how unhappy I was just a few short months ago! I really got swamped this week, don't even have time to log onto BB.com at work But I am as happy as could be!

Let's take things from the top...

My pupper is all better. Took him to the vet and she said it was probably just some sort of colitis, so she gave us some antibiotics and sent us on our merry way. And now he's perfectly fine - no more puking and pooing episodes, thank god.

My weekend was amazing! First, the site visit was actually fun and I didn't stress about it. The drive to my sister's was long, but we had a blast Friday night. I met a guy! We hit it off and there were some serious sparks. Even though he lives 2 hours away, he said he still wanted to make this work... but now I haven't heard from him Guess it was too good to be tru But whatever, I'm perfectly fine being man-less for the time being! So Fri night we watched my sister's boyfriend's band play and that was alot of fun. Saturday morning we drove to Boston to be with my Dad and Stepmom. We wanted to go to Quincy Market in the city, but it was all rainy out... so we all just went to Cheescake Factory and grabbed a late lunch It stopped raining in time for the Redsox game! My sister surprised me with really good tickets... she had originally told me we were just in the crappy bleacher seats. The game was AWESOME! We hit a grand slam and a few homers as well... kicked some serious arse! We drank beer, yelled and screamed, and just had a blast! Got a few drinks down the street while we waited for my Dad to pick us up. Then went back to their house. Went to breakfast on Sunday, then drove back to Troy and hung out with some people and relaxed for a few hours before I continued the drive back to Syracuse. I didn't get back until like 9:30pm Sunday night

I haven't gone to the gym this week because I've been fighting a cold and need to catch up on sleep... which is probably why I'm fighting a cold lol. But anyway, my plan is to write my new program this weekend and start that on Monday. No strict diet to go along with it, but just will be smart about everything. I need to just coast for the time being, make some friends, go out and have fun, all that stuff you do when you move across the country lol.

I need to go make some dinner.

Hmmm don't know where that is exactly because most times I've been in Boston, I've been drinking I normally just take the T in on the Orange Line and just go right to wherever I'm going.

Yeah I think now is not the time to stress about food. I'm in a good place and I just need to maintain. I plan on doing another cut starting in maybe February... might be CHA again, we'll see

Things are still nuts here. I stayed out of the gym all last week due to fighting my cold. I felt alot better and then woke up Saturday morning with a full blown cold! Don't know how that happened! So Sat and Sun, I pretty much just lounged around, got some grocery shopping done, watched the games, and grilled out.

I wrote my new gym program too! What I did is I took exercises from all of my programs - my original one, Scivation, and Velocity Diet. I picked all my favorites and am sticking with those. I really liked the Scivation workout routine I did, so I'll be doing the same muscle groups together and increasing reps each week. I plan on taking the Power and Kickboxing classes, but can't this week due to other conflicts. Those will go on off days.

I got absolutely slammed at work today with a project that had to get out. I wasn't on it originally, but they needed help, so I had to bang that out ASAP... I was busy as hell, but got it done! I've been running on Dayquil and Theraflu, so my brain is only half there... I absolutely hate cold meds, they make me so loopy!

I'm taking more of an initiative on making friends here. There's a girl in another department who I talk to every once in awhile and now I'm going over to her house for dinner tomorrow! I also took Lilly's advice and did put an ad on CL... even though I was hesitant, I've actually gotten quite a few responses from NORMAL people! There's one girl that seems really awesome and is into lifting weights as well... I want to try to get together with her this weekend. Saturday I'm going on a Wine Trek with people from my company... something like 7 different wineries around one of the Finger Lakes... tasting, food, mimosas on the bus I plan on buying a bottle from each winery we go to! I love wine, I can't wait!!

Oh and that guy? He turned into a dirt bag. I didn't hear from him and then I would hear from him so I'm like wtf is going on. I asked him and he said it's hard with the distance but wants to see me when I'm out there blah blah blah. Ummm yeah I'm not looking for that at all. And now apparently he has a GIRLFRIEND?? I specifically asked him if he did because I didn't want to get messed up in someone's relationships and such. Men are scum! I'm just starting to lose my faith in humanity lol. What ever happened to being honest with people? What's great about it is he's my sister's boyfriend's roommate, so I WILL be seeing him again. I'm not one to hold back my feelings when I think you're a dirtbag, so that conversation is going to be fun

In other news, I'm also taking some other initiative and finally doing something about my sleeping problem! I'm so happy that I'm taking the first steps! You may remember reading things here and there about how I can't sleep. I haven't been able to sleep for something like 4 years I take OTC sleep medication and never saw a doctor because I didn't want to admit that there may be some underlying problem. It was under control, but I'm really tired of taking pills every single night if there could be another option. It all came to a head when I was in Boston and sleptwalk. While the story is funny, it's also very scary for me. I've had a few MAJOR sleepwalking incidents in my life... ones where I would've walked out of my house, but woke up to standing in an open doorway. This time I actually slept walked to my dad/stepmom's downstairs neighbors' apartment.. their door happened to be unlocked... I went into their apartment and slept on their couch. I don't remember any of this and when they woke me up I was really freaking out. Luckily everyone had good humor about it, but I was so embarrassed and scared for myself. What if I didn't go into their apartment and instead walked down the street? So I called a sleep lab the other day. They're sending me the questionnaire and I'll send that back... then one of the doctors will call me and hopefully schedule me for a sleep clinic. They'll attach all those fun sensors and stuff and I'm supposed to try to sleep I'm just hoping that they can identify something... sleep apnea, anything that can be fixed. And if they recommend that I have to be on medication then I guess I'll worry about that when I get there. But I am so looking forward to hopefully finally getting a real good night's sleep very soon!

Hey Girl! That sucks about the guy! Glad to hear you are getting the sleep thing worked out. I have trouble getting to sleep sometimes, but I think it's because I'm just not sleepy. In college, I used to stay up all night every few nights just so I could eventually sleep. I hope they figure it all out!

Hey guys! Sorry it's been awhile, I've been crazy busy.

I've decided to take a break from journalling. I just can't keep up with it at this point. My job keeps me insanely busy. When I'm not doing that, I'm working out, relaxing, making friends, seeing family, etc. It seems as though no one is really following my journal much anymore anyway, so there's no need for me to keep up. I will still be around and check in with you guys when I can. No worries, I'm still bustin arse in the gym I keep track of all my workouts, but just haven't been posting them.

I know most of you have me on Facebook, but for those that don't... if you want to add me, just PM me and let me know. That's the best way to follow what's going on in my life.

I will definitely be back to this journal - this isn't a forever thing. Right now, I plan on doing another full cut after the new year. I'll figure it out as the time gets closer. But right now I need to focus on other things.
