me too. I cook at home almost exclusively. It's just my mom came to visit me and see my new home, and I hadn't seen her in a while, and she's a foodie.
Ya'll shoulda seen this grub though. Was crazy. The best meal was the Florida Everglades frog-legs with Fuyu Persimmon, Black Truffle, Celery Branch and Chestnut Purée.

Nice avatar. You do look pretty jacked, and it's cool that you are man enough to back up your talk with a visuals display. I mean it's lame enough to come aggressively at people online, but to do it with no pics of yourself is a whole new level of sad.

Fu cccckkkk no. I got some money but I don't got it "like that." I'd take my mom against some time in the coming years, or perhaps a girlfriend or something. But I wouldn't just roll up.

Well is was the best meal of my life. It was a pretty famous place cooked by what many people consider the best chef in the world. My mom is into that kinda stuff so it was worth it for her. I'm not really culinarily(making up my own word) sophisticated enough to appreciate the detail of it all. But yeah, it was pretty amazing.

Nice idea, but then afterward I'd just sink into my seat and torture myself about how better I could have spent that money. A week long super awesome exotic holiday for instance.

I've been trying not to think about it in those terms. I look at it as a present or a gift.

Not to TFL but I am one for fine dining.
The best has arguably been in Spain since 04, El Bulli and now Mugaritz, El Celler de Can Roca and Arzak.

I just think it's a bold statement to say a place isn't the best when it has a constantly changing menu and you've never been.
My 2 cents anyway. i don't know **** about fine dining to that degree so I don't feel strongly either way.

he shook my hand! lol. And he was sweet to my mom so double win!
His best recipe for home cooks IMO:

So absurdly simple and cheap. I make it constantly. No butter/fat on the skin and the high heat make all the difference!
