LSU's D played ok, Florida came in and showed how well rounded they are. Held LSU to barely anything other than one drive. I don't think Florida played terrible, they were in an extremely hostile enviroment. Tebow coming off a concussion, they had their way with the Time of Possession. LSU's D is fast and it matches well against UF. Now to Bama, they had like what 3 drives inside the 10? and couldnt get a TD. So they by no means whatsoever proved to be a great team. Their defense came to play but Snead is used to throwing 3 INT's a game so 4 wouldnt hurt him. Bama's offense was the biggest disappoint to me this week, Ole Miss held them in check in the entire game.
The most impressive team this week clearly goes to Virginia Tech, hands down

Since when is a 2 loss season a bad thing? Lmao. 2 losses = top 10 if you win your bowl game.
FWIW most LSU fans predicted 9-3 for this year. We're struggling to find a QB still apparently. You act like we had legit NC hopes for this year.. lmao.

that is false, watch the play again. i'll have no further comment on this as this game is water under the bridge.

He wouldn't have that much of an impact on the game. LSU's defense can keep up with him. But yeah, the "if" game is pointless.
All I'm trying to say is LSU is a QB away from being a NC contender

I'm still not sold on LSU's defense. It may just be a different approach then the Saban era that everyone grew to love. The bend but dont break defense works but it will not win the field position contest and it does not help your struggling offense. If the defense cannot get a few 3 and outs, the time of possesion will get really skewed. There probably would have been more 3 and outs, minus dumb penatlys such as the offside or the face mask on the incomplete 3rd down pass on the 20 yard line. It just seemed like everytime LSU had the ball they would have to go 80 yards for a touchdown.
Burning questions I would like to ask Les Miles:
Why do you run the option with Jordan Jefferson? ..insert yourdoingitwrong picture here..
What is the deal with not playing Sheppard any? I know he is a freshman but this dude has some talent.
Why don't you call more pass plays where Jordan Jefferson rolls out of the pocket instead of sitting in the pocket getting sacked? Seriously, how many times did Jordan Jefferson get sacked from the rear? Its not the O-linemans fault when 8 seconds go by and the defender gets around him.
Also, on one yard line I would have either spread the offense and QB sneaked JJ in or did a fake handoff and ran him in.

pretty sure giving up 2 TD's in 5 games is amazing. Crompton looked pretty good against UGA, I just think he needs some better coaching. I think he was like the #1 or #2 QB in the nation when he came out of HS

I think UF will win. You're kidding yourself if you think UF has more weapons on offense than LSU. Urban Meyer would sell his mother to have the receivers LSU does. If LSU has a defensive line tonight this game will be a nail biter in the 4th, if not.. over early 3rd quarter IMO.
|
lol'd at this, then lol'd even more cuz we all know the outcome now. lsu offense and defense looked like a highschool team vs d1 college team

hey brah aids was going around...
but seriously i have no idea what to think about our games vs tennesse and lsu.
our defense has looked great as expected but our offense in those games have been complete crap. i honestly cannot believe that they would be trying to play close games like this on purpose with that sh*tty ass playcalling for 2 games. tennessee i can somewhat see because of mr. berry. but once should be enough of that act. guess we won't know how we play a good defense 'for real' until alabama in the SECCG if we both make it. i sure hope they don't run the same play 10 times in a row on one drive...

Someone created a fake facebook account and posted something along the lines of "pray i'm not bout to make the biggest mistake of my life". lmao he debunked it himself. Apparently the guy who made the other facebook account spelled his name 'Sheppard' haha.
