Flash Forward vs. Dexter
Gonna start a new show. Choosing between these two. Opinions?
I love Lost and I've heard Flash Forward is similar, so that sounds cool. Everyone also says Dexter is great though, too.

The premise of Flash Forward sounds good to me. I've seen 3 seasons of Dexter and it's easily one of my favorite shows so that would be my pick.

flashforward reminds me too much of heroes & lost, where it will constantly drag on and seem to never stop, but it is entertaining.
Dexter is more intriguing and different each show.
So maybe a mixture of both shows haha
EDIT - Also add in a poll pls?

Dexter is fcking brilliant. Never seen Flash Forward, but it's hard to imagine it being better than Dexter.
Season 3 - Jimmy Smits on the rooftop, going absolutely mental - brilliant TV.
Season 4 - John Lithgow as the protagonist - can it get any better???

I watched the first epi of Flash Forward and it's decent, I prefer Dexter though.
The show is fairly accurate also in the investigative standpoint... Maybe not perfect but more accurate then the CSI shows.
The show represents something very real IMO because it's the prime example of a anti-social personality. Usually they are people with friends/family, are quite skilled socially and are well liked individuals. The show emphasizes Dexters struggle to maintain an appearance of normalcy, but we constantly see no-one can see through him even though he really struggles to be who he is. The realism greatly complements the excellent story line.

Looks like Dexter it is. I have Showtime On Demand and they have all the seasons.
EDIT - They don't have the first six episodes of Season 1. WTF!?

I'd say watch Dexter, since there are only a few episodes out for Flash Forward. Plus Dexter's really good, well both of them are really good.

Is there any reason why you can't watch both? Flash Forward just started so you can watch the 3 episodes, and then start DEXTER.
FLASH FORWARD is my new favorite show as of late. I think this show is awesome. There's only been like 3 episodes so it's hard to tell, but so far, i think it's one of the best on TV right now.

Dexter FTW win brah! It's awesome. Someone at my work suggested I watch it, so I picked up the first season of it on Blu Ray and was absolutely captivated by the show. Since then I've got all three seasons out and currently watching the fourth. You really need to check it out. I saw an episode of Flash Forward and wasn't too into it. I guess it really depends on your interests. If you watch Dexter, I promise you you won't regret it brah!

Why not both? Flashforward only has like 3 eps so far, so not much to really keep track of and the ABC website usually has all their shows.
Dexter S1-2 are on Netflix watch instantly if you have that.
