I don't know if you guys have seen this article, but it's got some good stuff about building glute strength/hip flexibility. The guy is doing bridges and hip thrusts with 405+....that's a lift you can brag about to the ladies.
...when i posted it in my journal a week ago...lol
you're welcome
*as he thinks to himself of all the glute shots that will undoubtedly accompany the new found glute training...it's only a matter of time... sighhhhhh*
dude...you seem surprised seeing this video...considering the article you posted(a week after i posted it) had videos of all the exercises he was talking about down the right hand side of the page...and this was one of them

I went light on these, but I can certainly see how you can move a good amount of weight on these. Bret Contreras talks about propeling yourself forward is produced by hip extension, hip hyperextension. Thus why glutes are much more active when sprinting, than jumping. Both squats and deads are more like jumping vertically. If you ever seen what a long jumper looks like mid jump.
He explained how sprinters usually had the stong glutes pound for pound, more than powerlifters even. I think long jumpers would have had similar results. Anyhow, mid long jump looks like a hip thrust because of the extension, an hyperextesion of the hips.
Quite simply I am going to have a HUGE ass.

Fun and simple, just takes a while to get used to it. Not much stranger than the first time you decided to put a barbell on your back though. LOL

i could really have fun with this statement... yet i refrain, because i feel you worded it like this on purpose, and i'd rather spite you than fall into your little syntax trap
