Additional Glutamine Supplementation

Is it necessary for additional glutamine supplementation during a traditional mass phase? I know it's a great supplement for recovery during a bulk phase, but I am already taking ON Whey in the morning, ON serious mass pre/post workout/before bed. I know these products contain glutamine-precursors. Is it better to get a straight up glutamine powder supp?

Any advice/opinions would be appreciated the same.

i throw in an extra 5g glutamine in my PWO shake and my shake before bed. i found they sell it at target for like $10 for 65 servings so i figured it's so cheap i might as well do it. can't hurt right?

During a bulk your recovery will be pretty good as is.
