Nice my man! I haven't posted in a while been busy with work. But I am keeping on, I have had to up my calories quite a bit to keep up with my bodies demand. I am ending week 4 of Insanity This saturday, and will move onto the recovery week. And hit month 2 balls to the wall, the month 2 workouts are awesome. Shaun T has really created a hell of a workout program.

What's up dudes. Haven't seen much action in here lately, so I just want to check in.
I've been doing a hybrid P90X/P90X+ routine for the past month or so. I'm definitely enjoying the variety, and still sticking to the typical layout as classic but adding 1 core brutalizing week before the 3 regular weeks. My schedule looks like this:
Core/Suicidal week 1: Total+, Upper+, Kenpo+, Yoga, Interval+, Core Syn (not in that particular order) with Ab Ripper & Abs/Core+ tacked onto 3 of the days.
Weeks 2-4: Like P90X classic, but substituting Interval+ for Plyo every other week, Kenpo+ for Kenpo, and replacing 2 of the 3 Ab Rippers with Abs/Core+.
Week 5: Recovery week with a few + workouts thrown in.
Repeat for 3 phases, but rotate the resistance workouts like in classic.
This is pretty brutal, but I feel like a million bucks afterward. I've finally gotten to the point where I no longer have to pause Interval+. That's like Plyo on crack, holy smokes.
I'm 5'9", 170lbs and I ate ~2600 calories during my initial round of classic and I lost almost 10lbs throughout the 90 days. I'm trying to add more lean muscle mass, so I bumped it up to ~3000 per day. I'm absolutely stuffing my face, but good calories! I've put on a pound or two since I've started which hopefully is mostly muscle. I haven't done a BF caliper measurement since the end of classic, so we'll see in a couple weeks if this is working as I hope.

I hear you CShot, I'm doing a plus/classic mix right now myself and I can't believe how hard the interval plus is! Like you, I felt like I was doing plyo for the first time all over again! I'm following the schedule laid out by the excell sheet on beachbody which took me through the plus workouts for 3 weeks then dumped me back into the classic routines. WOW what a difference between the two. The plus workouts are great for curcuit training and conditioning, but jumping back into 8-10 rep weight training with the classic was a shock to thy system. I'm still sore from my first back & bi workout two days ago! It probably doesn't help that I throw in 2 a days using Kempo+ and Cardio X. Good luck with the plus series, I hope you enjoy it as much as I am.

Hey guys! Great to hear from ya! I like the schedules and the mix of routines, great way to keep the results and Growth coming. By changing Rep Schemes, Tempo rep ranges, all great things. I am in my recovery week of Insanity then it is on to month 2 of just absolute brutal workouts that will kick the **** out of me. Month one is just an all out assault on my Heart rate and legs, month 2 is that plus 15 minutes longer and more of an assault on every muscle in the body. I am loving this routine, it has deff changed my mind about cardio and Fitness, I am eating so damn much right now to sustain this activity level it is Intense.
Keep it up brothas! As always, bring it! And keep me posted!

Hey Guys,
Been really busy with work and school, and ****ed up my back somehow. Haven't been following any entire program, but maintaining my weight and strength by doing a couple work outs a week.
I think I'll start up again soon. School will be going from 2 nights a week down to just one.

Hey guys,
Checking in. On my 8th or 9th week now. Have been doing it as a bulk and just packing on the calories. My back, shoulders, chest, bi's, lat's, ab's, legs, pretty much every muscle I can think of has seen size increases. Really stepped it up the last few weeks and it's nuts. Yoga-x is unreal well at least the chataronga phase up until 42mins. I'm glad though I'll be done with phase 2 here this week. Katie in the bi's and back video was irritating the **** out of me!

What's up guys???? I see it's been a bit quiet here lately.... It's been a bit crazy for me as well, but i just wanted to pop in here to see how you guys are doing.
I'm doing ok. after finishing p90x and doing phase 1 of p90x+ as you kow i got married and got away from a routine. as soon s i got back i started round 2 of p90x only to find myself leaning out waaay more thani wanted to... so after the first recover week i got off p90x and i am now doing a strictly lifting routine. i will be on that for a few months just to try to do a lean gain and once i get that then back to the X to lean it out and get ripped.... anyway, hope all is well and i will be popping in here from time to time to see how all goes with you guys.

It sounds like your goals and mine are pretty much the same thing. Round 1 leaned me out pretty well, and now I want to put on some lean mass and get some massive broceps.
I'm 5'9" / 173lbs and currently eating 3000-3100 calories a day opposed to the 2600-2700 I was eating during round 1. I'm 65 days into my P90X+ hybrid round and I've put on 7 lbs since the start of it. I started taking creatine post-workout as well and I feel like I can punch out a kodiak bear in the middle of my workouts.
I just snapped a shot after Chest & Back / Abs Core+ today and it's quite the far cry from my true day 1 shot, wow!

crum, well done man and good job on keeping at it after round one.... yeah man, gaining a bit of lean mass is what im trying to do these next few weeks i'm also ingesting a minimum of 3000 calories per day and slowly putting on a few pounds. The thing is, it's a very clean diet, pretty much chicken, rice, oatmeal, and protein shakes.... that is getting old, see how long i can last on it...lol

Been too long!!
Wassup guys (and girls)?!?! Been absent for quite a while, but still in the fray!! Haven't stopped, won't stop...hell can't stop!!! Let's see.....Finished round 1, half way through round 2 with mix of classic and plus series. Freakin luvin it!! I changed up my diet and stumbled into maintain mode! Beat my head against the wall for a while and decided to go back to carb cycling. Been studying a lot about nutrition programs and decided from past experience, published info and good advice from good friends that I would take another stab at it. Haven't even finished the first week yet, but haven't seen a drastic drop in energy....yet. Before I had been eating clean, keeping my fat low and fueling with good complex carbs. So there I was and here I am!
Wassup with you good folks? Killing it from what I can tell by scanning recent post!
Coach (trapt) thanks again for checking up on me! Too bad it wasn't a week or two earlier or you would've caught me slippin (vacation)!
Take care all!!!
