ON 100% Whey Gold Standard - which falvor?

Since I need to up my calories and don't have a protein shake for after workout I thought I should buy one. I decided on ON 100% Whey Gold Standard but don't know what flavor to choose. I have never tried a protein shake, so no idea on what to expect. From your experience which flavor mixes well and tastes good?

What I did was buy the 16 flavor pack from this website (so I didn't end up buying a huge tub of something I didn't like). There were really only a few that I REALLY liked

My vote is for the Double Rich Chocolate

Personally I think strawberry & extreme milk chocolate are the best

Well, I don't have the option to try the pack as I don't think they deliver in Romania, so I will have to rely on other people's taste . On the site that I found they have vanilla, strawberry, chocolate (no idea which one), Rocky Road, tropical punch, cookies&cream and mocha.
I wrote to that site to clarify which chocolate flavor they have(I don't like the mint and chocolate mixture) and if is not ok, I was thinking of Rocky road. What do you think about it?

I don't know if you can get it in Romania, but for anyone reading this - try a product called Muscle Whey by Asylum Project in the Choc Flavour. I'm telling you this stuff is DELICIOUS!!
Plus it's hardcore post workout nutrition and more advanced than your average whey shake. Whoa though, it truly is super tasty, you have to stop yourself from going for another!
Anyone interested in a night time protein, best tasting one I've had so far is Pharma-Blend by PHD in the Belgian Choc Flavour - tastes delicious. But that Muscle Whey is the top dog - it tastes like real chocolate.

I second this, after going throught the variety pack, I can't say any of them were that bad.

My fav, any of the chocolate flavors.

Oh, I forget to say - in general, choc flavour protein shakes taste better. Banana is the most vile thing ever. Even if a protein shake tastes bad though, usually the Choc is the least offending to your taste buds as it tends to have a malt like taste and texture which is more bearable going down the hole. I drink a heck of a lot of Nutrisport's 90+ Protein which is both fast and slow release and it tastes vile even in Choc but I drink it anyway cos its a great protein, really is.

I've tried all of them..Chocolate hands down!! Strawberry was a nice change too..

-All of their chocolate flavors are pretty good
-Vanilla ice cream is good, and is handy if you like mixing protein into foods
-Orange creamsicle is different, but VERY tasty
-Cookies and cream is one of my favorites
-Caramel Toffee Fudge pretty much rocks
-Strawberry is good, but nothing special
-Root Beer Float is surprisingly good, but not something I would want everyday
-Fruit punch... eh. Not my thing
-Chocolate mint - also not my thing I guess
-Rocky Road - Yum!
-Strawberry Banana tastes too much like that icky fake banana flavoring to me. I think it overpowers the strawberry flavor.

I have ordered the variety packs in the past so I have tried most of their flavors. I think in general any of the chocolate flavors are the way to go if you're only ordering one because some of the others, while really tasty, would probably bore you after a while.

Hands down, Rocky Road is my favorite flavor and I've tried them all -- except Vanilla -- but that's so...well, vanilla!

Chocolate mint is my favorite, but since you don't like the minty/choco combo I'd suggest double rich chocolate as that is my second favorite. Rocky road, caramel toffee fudge, and banana are just okay. Tasty at first, but they get old fast.

apple pie : really good !! but only in 2 lbs
banana cream: eurk! Just taste like banana syrup
rocky road: Okay taste like cherryblossom
double rich chocolate is really good too. Can't go wrong with it.
mocha cappuccino: Okay, doesnt taste coffee a lot
Caramel Toffee Fudge is pretty good too

I finally made the order as they were out of stock but they got double rich chocolate. Hopefully it will arrive in 2 days, can't wait to try it.

personally didnt like any of their shakes. i am constantly disappointed by the prodect.

The order has arrived but I have a little problem...it's doesn't have a measuring cup. I thought it will come with the jar but it hasn't...how do you measure 30 grams?

They all come with measuring cups.. On the side of the tub, it says that due to shipping, measuring cup will settle..

When my order comes, I basically go fishing for it.. stick a cooking spoon in the tub and see if you can find it.

I know you already ordered, but I just wanted to add...

I personally like the Extreme Milk Chocolate. It's sweeter. The double rich chocolate didn't seem near as sweet and had more of a "protein" taste if that makes any sense?

Vanilla was great to mix in fruit, etc
Cookies and Cream reminds me of melted ice cream and not in a good way!! It didn't sit well with me.

(those are all i've tried in that brand)

Right now I am drinking Double Rich Chocolate. However, the best tasting flavor that I've ever tasted by ON is Caramel Toffee Fudge....OMG!!! Makes you want to drink 2.

Oh, I vote for chocolate mint (sort of like a thin-mint girl scout cookie) or the double rich chocolate (but I found 5 pounds of it got old)
