Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback as always.
The springboard rana was practiced a half hour or so prior to the show. We discussed it, but I was unsure since I didn't know if I could springboard with my wrestling boots on. But all turned out well; A few botches, but we recovered well/as well as we could of given the circumstances. Thanks for your continued support.

To those interested, here's the link to download my match that I had last night...
http://www.sendspace.com/file/cn5d5i
Maybe somebody is able to upload it so it'd be easier -- I really don't know how to, but trying to learn.
Thanks to those who take the time to watch it and critique it.

My opponent that night was able to download it and add it onto his computer. So for those interested, you can watch it here instead of downloading it hopefully.

Hey guys, here's a highlight video for the latest match I had... If you recall, I had my first match against Aerial Star and this past Saturday, we finished the fued. We won the tag titles together (him being face, me being heel) and this was our one year blowoff to the fued. I don't know if he's going to be putting up the actual match in it's entirety, but here is the highlight video shown from a few different angles. Hope you guys enjoy.

Good stuff, man, I liked the finish to the match!
Your punches/chops looked better than some of the pros! You've got a good ring presence, too. Keep it up!

On Saturday, I'll be tagging with one of the guys in a promotion up against The Young Bucks. I'm excited, as I'm a big fan of their work. Don't know how well you guys are familiar with them, but they are definitely one of the finer tag teams around -- at least in terms of Southern California. Should be a good one.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9S0pmysok_M
^^^^^^^^^
Another promo; This time with the guy I'm tagging with (Devin Sparks). We enter in about 2 1/2 minutes in the video. I'm working on inserting more personality into my promos as I feel sometimes they are a bit dull and boring. O have plenty outside, but I always worried about interjecting comedy into my promos, but I think I'm going to mix a little bit together -- a seriousness mixed with a little more personality.

Training's been going great. A few weeks back, Joey Ryan was included into the mix, so he's been training us on Thursdays; It's been real fun -- he has a real wealth of knowledge. Last week, I was informed that Joey was bringing somebody to training since he was working a PWG show in a few days (Was a show last night, actually) and it ended up being Paul London. He was really cool and lent out some good tips that I definitely plan on implementing. With Joey being one of the weekly trainers it will definitely be a learning experience.
Other than that, got another match coming up on the 7th of March and then another one on the 8th. So until then, I'll keep learning and I've been training and studying harder than ever. I've been hitting the gym every night now for the past month or so, and I'm really starting to notice a big difference. I have a long way to go, but believe me when I say, I will get there. Until I get to the weight and have the look I feel I need, I will just continue to work to improve on all aspects of my game.

Well, you've definitely got the drive and the talent necessary to make it. Now all you need is a little more size and a little bit of luck in order to get to the big time. Good luck man.
BTW, did you think about looking into the FCW tryouts in Tampa?

I have thought about it. Though I want to be in absolutely immaculate condition when I head down there. I figure being the shortest guy (I'm assumming... lol) heading down there, I need to be running on all cylinders. I don't want to head down there and be lacking anything if I'm already lacking in the height department. So I need to make double sure that I'm shining in every other possible way -- That includes my body, my look, my ring presence, my promo, my heeling, everything. I can't leave anything to chance.
Thank you for the kind words -- you were always one of those who have been supportive since the beginning. It truly helps to have a support system and you were always one of the ones that have constantly backed me.

Yep, trying. Always at the forefront is working hard. Difficult to relax sometimes because there's always new things I want to do and try and get out there and just work in that ring, you know what I mean? But relaxing time also means studying time, so that will keep my mind working and trying to pick upon things I never did before and whatnot.

This is the first time I have seen this thread. I have to say that I am impressed.
OP... you look good in the ring. I haven't watched all of the matches, but you look good in what I have seen. I like the aggression and the intensity. It is so much easier to hate a heel when they look like they are seriously out for blood. The progress over the time you have been training is awesome. I would say good luck, but you seem to be making your own luck.
This is an awesome perspective for people who what to train, and a good resource of the effect it has on the body.
I would like to address what Ri0t67 has listed. While it may come across as abrasive or harsh, he speaks the absolute truth. I have heard several workers and promoters say many of the same things, and often times in the same ways. Even though wrestling has changed... respect still is the most important thing behind the curtain.
I know of a few guys who didn't mean to be rude, but it cost them big time. They aren't booked on a show, and they show up and want to hang out in the back. The promoter asks them to help take tickets, run sound, or help at concessions and they say they just want to chill out. Guess what... they still are in the dog house.
Egos are huge even at a tiny indy event. There is a very fine line between being confidant and having goals, and being cocky. Being cocky, espically when you are a newbie, will burn bridges before you can even finish building them.

Agreed. Not too long ago, I went back and re read this thread and took into account what Riot was saying. I think I even posted how respectful he came across in telling me and some others some things. Much like you have done so here, you have been respectful about it. Looking back, I included a lot of the highs, but didn't state many of the lows, such as the aches and pains and whatnot due to I felt it was the same old story. Though now I kind of regret not listing some of the lows, as it would have been better for the general public to read, I feel. I don't want anyone to mistake what I've written here -- this has not been easy; Not by any stretch of the imagination. And even truer, I have a longggggggggg way to go, still. In the grand scheme of things, I haven't done much of anything, even though I'm already living my dream. As for the egos... I've been lucky, thus far, I haven't ran into too many huge egos in the business yet, but I know I've just begun, so I'm sure to run into plenty.
Thank you for the kind words, as well as the words of encouragement, and thanks for giving us your feedback on your perspective.

Hope you all have been doing well; Have been slacking on the updates, so I'll just fill you guys in via videos... Once again, can't post videos worth ****, but some of you guys are good at that and if need be, will post them to make it easier on you/others -- If that's the case, then more power to you all.
As for what's been going on, I have absolutely no complaints -- This has been an awesome year for me thus far and I have undoubtly wrestled my best batch of opponents thus far. Started with the Young Bucks to start off the year, I've gotten the opportunity to wrestle Joey Ryan a few times, Tim Donst (From Chikara fame), TJ Perkins (PWG and EWF -- recently relocated to Florida) and LTP (Recently started working PWG).

Hey guys, just another update -- Been so busy (Keep saying that, but it's true...) Since my last post, I've gone up to Portland, Oregon twice and wrestled a few shows up there each time, so that's been exciting. On the local front, in Sept. I became the Heavyweight Champion of the West Coast Wrestling Company. It's an awesome feeling and is definitely a reminder that at the very least I'm heading in the right direction.
I just recently wrestled Scorpio Sky (From PWG, WSX fame) and had a blast working with him. Talked to him about his time spent in Japan and am excited to work with him once again. I also just got a booking for a show in Anaheim in a week, so it's another chance to get my name out to people who I've never worked in front of before. Things are going well and I'm getting there in terms of getting into the absolute best shape I've ever been in with the knowledge that I will just continue to improve in all aspects. Take care, guys.

Your first Heavyweight title? Man thats so awesome.
You've definitely got the right mindset for the business, so keep at it man.
You've probably already got it in mind, but it'd be great if in the future, you could try to get some experience in Japan under your belt.

Would really love to have the match, brother. Glad you're going to start here soon. I should be working a few shows in Iowa here within a couple of months if all goes as planned, that's as far I've been, but I'd love to go out there and wrestle. Perhaps I'll fly you out to San Diego and we'll train for a week.

You've probably already got it in mind, but it'd be great if in the future, you could try to get some experience in Japan under your belt.

Thanks, man! Appreciate it. You've always been real supportive -- That means a great deal. How have you been, brother? Yes, definitely, Japan is one of my goals that I hope to achieve sooner rather than later. Would love to do at least one tour in, but would love more. Been talking to other workers regarding their time spent in Japan and it sounds amazing. I'd love to work there.
