I deleted two big posts of yours from last page
I was in the process of dl'ing 3 albums from there and one of the DL's, not sure which one, dropped a trojan on my computer so bad it took the IT dept all day to trap and clean the computer, wicked bad, shut down and destroyed all AV software everytime you opened it
so to be safe, I deleted both posts, it would destroy a personal comp
personally, I think it may have been the marco guitar one from that 'depositfile' site it's the one that was locked up

You 100% sure it was from a link of mine? I don't upload ANYTHING but it would've been good to know from which band it was so i can search for it and see if it's still up on the site i got it from.
yes, I was only dl'ing 3 files all off links in your posts, all of a sudden, the whole computer slowed, anti-virus alert popped up, and FILLED immedaitely
it was one of those, "shut you down, buy our anti-virus software" trojans
it was ugly
dropped programs all over the computer, everytime i found one and deleted it, another got going
I think we are using trend micro, but this thing went right by it, so I think it piggybacked on a dl
it erased malwarebytes program file
it was UGLY according to my main 'go to' guy here, one other person has gotten it
am I SURE it was from that, no, but I deleted the posts just in case
If it got into someones personal PC, it would have done some real damage
last one like that, they had to re-image the comp as it destroyed system files
so better careful than sorry

Sounds like the exact same virus I got from downloading Mastodon's "Crack The Sky". It took me a week to get my computer back from the shop but the guy who fixed mine is kind of a dumbass. I didn't download it from this thread however, I got it off searching with google and I think it was hosted by rapidshare. Nasty nasty stuff. I lost control of my mouse within a day and I tried 8 or so different virus removal tools before that happened and it prevented me from using any of them (even hijackthis which isn't even a removal tool lol). My computer wasn't protected than but it sure is now
