Dylan's Experience with USP Lab's Asteroid Stack

So here I am, just over 12 weeks out from my first ever contest prep, and I'm looking to pack on some quality muscle mass before the lbs start shedding off faster than Michael Jackson chasing after a Kindergarten school-bus. And what better way to pack on some hard, dense LBM than with some USP products?..... I don't know, I'm asking you. I've never tried their products before. However, what I do know is that they have gotten some positive feedback, and look like something worth giving a shot. If you are not familiar with USP's Asteroid Stack then you should know that I will be taking Prime, Anabolic Pump and PowerFULL along with their brand new Pre-WO powder, Jacked. I will be running this stack for a whole month (4 weeks, starting on January 4th) before deciding whether or not to continue with the full 12 weeks. I ordered the supps a few days ago, so they should be arriving quite shortly. Once they do, you will know. Here goes nothing...

Right now I am 18 years old (I'll be 19 on Jan. 7th), at 5'8" and about 163.8lbs at 10-12% BF.

My training split is/ has been;

Sunday - Power Lower Body
Monday - Power Upper Body
Tuesday - Rest
Wednesday - Legs Hypertrophy
Thursday - Chest/ Back/ Traps Hypertrophy
Friday - Bi's/ Tri's/ Shoulders Hypertrophy
Saturday - Rest

If anything changes it will be posted.

My nutrition will be a typical bulking diet. My macros are as follows;

440/200/70 (CHO/Prot/Fat), about 3,000-3,150 kcals.

I will be making reviews, as I see fit, of any side affects associated with the stack. I promise to have at least one post a week, however I'm not one to hold back on details, and will probably have multiple posts, some of which may be nothing short of meaningless, random thoughts and hopes for the future... Feel free to make any suggestions, comments and/or recommendations at any point. I'm open to all criticisms.

I will also try to have some form of a before and after comparison, although my sister lost her digital camera, so pictures may be hard to do. At the least I will have weight, BF and measurements to show for, not to mention daily workouts that can be tracked and guaged over the course of my cycle.

So, without much further ado (6 days actually : / ), LETS GAIN SOME MUSCLE!

my routine is same one i've been doing for a couple weeks now. the only thing that changes is the exercises. other than that it's the same split, same amount of sets, same rep ranges depending on the day, and so forth.

Review of USP Lab's Jacked:

This morning I used my first serving (2 scoops) of USP Lab's Jacked, and was very pleased to say the least. First off, I would like to point out that I have tried many N.O./Pre-workout powders over the course of my weight training (i.e. NO Xplode, NaNO Vapor, SuperPump and VasoCharge) and can honestly say that Jacked is far superior in many facets. Let me explain:

1) Jacked is "Ultra-Concentrated, Pharmaceutical-Grade Quality." I'm not sure how accurate this claim really is, but I do know that the container is uber-small and each scoop weighs approx. 4.4g. which is considerably light compared to NO Xplode's 20.5g, or even worse, MT's NaNO Vapor at 25g! This is supposedly due to USP's promise that they do not use any fillers such as Maltodextrin, Magnesium and Artificial Flavors and Colorings. This can be seen, as the powder is white and does not taste ANYTHING like the other powders. Which leads me to point #2...

2) Jacked tastes EXCELLENT! Not only is "Ultra-Concentrated" but is tastes great too. It does not have that metallic, sickening taste that NO Xplode or SuperPump has. If I were to compare it to something, it would have to be lemon-lime flavored Airborne. It has an enjoyable light flavor and fizz, that in all honesty is quite refreshing. PLUS, it doesn't make you want to hit the toilet 10 minutes later.

3) Jacked's ability to provide focus and drive is unsurpassed IMO. Unlike other Pre-workout powders, Jacked does not OVER-stimulate and make you jittery, or even nauseous. With my experience this morning I was calmed, reserved, but completely in THE ZONE. I could not be bothered because my mind was only on the task at hand and on nothing else. This is by far the best quality I have noticed. It provided a genuine drive to lift and move weight, not an unwanted stimulation that doesn't even allow you to sit down without tapping your feet like you're playing double bass pedals.

4) Jacked mixed well with no fine particulates left inside my glass.

5) Jacked contains a unique, never-before-seen combination of ingredients. This made me a little skeptical/ reluctant at first, two feelings I can now forget about. Schizandrol, Geranium, Caffeine, Theophylline, Beta-alanine, Creatine and AAKG (Arginine) work very well together and really allow you to focus and push through a hard workout.

To view my workout, check out my Workout Log in my other thread. More to come once I start using the other products. So far a winner in my book!

Yesterday was my first day using the Asteroid Stack along with Jacked, and as it's still too early to state any definite effects of the stack, I have a few thoughts, nonetheless.

I could not help but notice that I had a deep, restful night's sleep last night. It isn't normal for me to go a whole night without waking up, but last night I was out like a light, and woke up very refreshed this morning. I'm eager to see if this continues because I have been looking into sleep aids for quite some time now.

Jacked once again set me up for a great workout. I hit two PR's yesterday on Bench (205 x 6) and T-bar Rows (290 x 4). My back is definitely lit up right now, that's for sure.

More to come later in the week. Nothing too noticeable just yet.

Alright. One week down in the books, and only good things to report. I am definitely getting stronger, with PR's in Bench, Incline DB Bench, T-Bar Rows, Curls, Skull Crushers, Squats and RDL's to name a few. My muscles feel pretty full 24hrs out of the day and seem like they're always recovering and growing. No changes in mood or anything like that. I have to report that I'm still not sleeping well though. I thought the PowerFULL might help aid in that, but doesn't seem hopeful. However, despite less-than-stellar night's sleep, I am still progressing in the gym, even on says where I don't feel 100%. If you check my other thread you'll notice some pretty nice PR's despite the lack of physical (or perhaps mental) energy.

Jacked is still working great. I still get a great deal of drive and focus when using it, and helps me to push through the days where I feel I could be better.

So far so good. Gonna run it until the bottles are empty.

Prime - 5 days on 2 off (2 pills B, L, D)
PowerFULL - 5 days on 2 off (2 pills 30 min. pre-wo, 2 before bed)
Anabolic Pump - Everyday (1 pill 15 min. before pre-wo meal, 1 15 min. before post-wo meal) Gonna start taking 3 pills a day starting tomorrow. The third will be 15 min. before breakfast.
Jacked - 2 scoops 30 min. pre-wo

That's all for now!

no, i finished the stack back in january with no significant gains or results. i have been off it for over a month and i am stronger than i ever was while taking prime, powerfull and anabolic pump. a waste of money in my opinion. diet and smart training are paramount.

Aww man, that's too bad. I just bought Prime & Powerfull and I've been dosing for about 5 days. I haven't used any supps in a while so I wanted to try something new out. My workouts and Diet are almost always on point. As of now, I have experienced nothing in terms of xtra anabolism.

Man, I wish I would have see this about 2 week ago before I started the asteroid stack because I too am not noticing any gains and jack3ed is doing nothing for me pre-workout, in fact I'm feeling more lethargic than usual. I agree that it is a big waste of money!

It is strange that some feel nothing from taking these 3 products as they should feel strength increases from the PRIME, better recovery and sleep from PowerFULL and should be able to benefit from eating a few more Carbs than before without gaining excess fats from the AP.
The inclusion of Jack3d should further enhance your workouts. If you are feeling a little lethargy, is it after a few hours of taking Jack3d or lethargy in general.

Could i have a rundown of your training schedule and nutrition and see if i can tweak things a little to see if you can benefit from anything from the stack. You can PM this info if you wish and i will try and help out the best i can as you have paid good money for the stack.

proper training, nutrition and rest will account for the majority of your gains. if you're eating enough, stimulating your muscles properly and providing sufficient rest times between sessions you'll undoubtedly gain muscle. IMO most supplements are a big waste of money. i put my stock in the basics; multi-vitamin, EFA's, whey, BCAA's, creatine and beta-alanine. stick to those and you can't go wrong.
