Protein Whey Body Fortress question

sorry if this is in the wrong section, but got a question. I'm basically on a pleatue, and never took any suppliments before, but now got whey protein. in two months, if i take it after every workout which is 3 times a week and take about 4 scoops per week, how much strength would be expected for me to gain in two months? Like overall strength, 10%, 20%? and i don't want to gain more than 5 pounds if i gain anything. Just curious for what i should expect.

Realistically it would be very difficult to predict your strength increase. If your new to lifting, however, you probably will see some significant strength gains in two months, but I wouldn't really attribute those to the protein. It definitely will help though. I used the BodyFortress whey for a while, until I got sick of buying the 2lb tubs all the time. It's decent stuff and its pretty cheap as well.

As far as weight--you may gain some lbs with the increased protein intake, but that too is hard to tell how much without knowing your caloric intake.

EDIT: I just read that you said youre on a plateu... protein should help, but don't expect anything too crazy. Try shakin up your workout a little bit, this and protein might be enough to bust through it.

you'll gain a good amount of strength if you change your diet along with taking protein shakes. your recovery time will increase a lot also.
