OP is a jackass. I'm sure the school I go to is going to force one of the greatest (if not the greatest) college football coaches ever to retire mid season of his final season. Our season is already ****ed anyways. Strong logic.

They won't make him go mid-season, but it sounds like the boosters are gonna be pressuring him like crazy by years end. If they really really want him gone, he'll be gone.

Ask yourself why FSU is in a position where they have to rely on freshmens and sophomores to contribute immediately. Could it possibly have to do with the atrocious '06 and '07 recruiting classes. Who was resposible for those classes, Jeff Bowden. The man who already spent five years tearing down this program. Bobby Bowden would have let his son drive this program to the ground had the boosters not applied immense pressure.

Agreed, but what will pushing bobby out mid season solve? He will obviously retire at the end of the season but pushing him out now will do nothing

my god that really sums it up. I blacked out by halftime for most of those joke games. Now they are losses. Amazing.

I don't think anyone is asking for Bobby to step down mid season. But after Terry Bowden said FSU should pay Jimbo Fisher $5 million to get him out of his contract, I think everyone has to make it really clear to Bobby that he will not be coaching in 2011.

Because when he does, and lets say FSU wins out the season. Recruits will be pouring in, moral will be high, and a new dynasty will emerge. plausable.

Exactly,Bowden needs to retire at the end of the season to save our recruiting class. We have mass instability. Jimbo can give names to the recruits of what DC's he will go after, and he can finally make it HIS team. FSU is getting killed by negative recruiting right now. It's too easy to do with this ****tay coaching staff on D that Bowden brought in.
