It hasn't been a year yet but its almost. I need another 20-30 lbs to lose. Been kinda stuck or hit a plateau.

GOOD JOB, I personally think you would look awful and too skinny if you lost 20-30 more lbs you should focus on gaining some muscle, in the process your body fat % WILL go down. just my 2 cents. GOOD JOB AND GL

I started at 206 Lbs - August 08
I started with circuit training.. more rep less rest.. alternating between cardio weight..
June 09 - 184 Lbs
This is where I was like few months into strength training..
Sept 09 - 180 lbs
I am just hitting it hard lately but not getting enough bang for my buck.. so it to say it a little demoralizing.. but will keep on getting back on the saddle and work even harder..
Muscle definition and my mid section is my major problem area.
Please any input regarding the type of training or type of workout is welcome..

I wouldn't be calling people idiots if you haven't taken the time to use your brain first. Especially since this was already addressed earlier in the forum by the OP if I remember correctly.

Haha the tattoo thing again Ok just do this...go to my bodyspace and look at the progress pics if you wish, the tattoo (which is on my left arm for the record) will show up my right arm on every pic where I am holding the phone, cuz that means I am taking a picture into a mirror. The tattoo is visible in every single pic (to varying degrees) so you can see it flip back and forth between pics, it's like magic

Thanks, I was thinking about doing that because when I stretch my arms back I can see like my ribs on my chest kind've. If I was to go on and try to gain some muscle should I eat at maintenance and lift hard with no cardio?

I posted this in the regular forum here before I seen this thread so I thought I would but them in here also. I started out at 225 on the verge of having to go buy size 38 jeans. Now I am 185 wearing 32 jeans loosely. I did it by running, eating way better, and lifting.
Now I am eating about 3500 a day clean and started the SS program everyone on here raves about this week and running some. I am going to do this for three months and then cut and see where that gets me.

Thanks everyone
Nothing special about my lifting routine. Just focused on putting more weight on the bar and not chasing "the pump". Overall though I did lower the volume a bit since I wasn't eating as much (obviously).
As far as diet, I followed a timed carb diet and was actually able to gain strength and muscle over the course of 5 months. More info about that and why its better than other styles of dieting are explained here:

I recommend the 3 day split + more cardio.
You're energy and recovery ability are going to be hampered with a calorie deficit. Low intensity cardio won't eat into your recovery unlike lifting more or high intensity cardio.

Natural Transformation
Hey everyone!!
I'm here reppin' the all naturals
Wanna start this post off amazingly, and I wanna show just what you can do with whole foods. The only time I use any supplements are when I haven't prepared enough chicken or protein for the day or some meals I choose to drink shakes for convienence.
The rest of my diet is 100% whole foods.
After 7 weeks of cutting naturally, I got down to 170 at whatever % bf I am in this picture.
It was a total of 9 weeks worth of time, (2 weeks of vacation in which I couldn't get to the gym but I still ran 4-5 miles in the morning on an empty stomach) So those don't count as me cutting, but rather I maintained the leanness that I had built up to.
My before pic is after the last semester of school, unfortunately I let the stress build up and that was not good!! Then I was the same weight, actually even heavier before the 9 weeks. My after pic is taken at the beginning of September this year.
My pics are the before and after pics on my bodyspace.
I think that's the easiest way to do this:

Yet another moment in sell out history. Craned's exact pictures on this exact thread are on this ad. Just look at the very first post of this thread. wtf is this ****? Am I seeing things?
Are you a publicity stunt or are you for real craned?
Look at the first post of this thread by craned and click his last picture.
EDIT: if you look at the comments, theres another before and after image from THIS thread. Im starting to believe that this is a case of internet fraud.

When it comes to the exercise part, I've been dedicated. I lifted casually towards the end of last year. But it was when this year rolled around that I got serious. First couple months I was more sloppy of course, because I was learning as I went. Even now I make improvements when I can, I don't think you ever stop tweaking or changing your routine, because you are always learning. But for the last 6 months I have been in the gym nearly 7 days a week. Lifting about 5 of them, at least, and cardio 2 times a week in addition to cardio after lifting on those days. I've lost about 30 lbs since April. The hardest part for me has always been the diet. There was a period where I gained about 10 lbs back in a 2 week period. I struggle constantly even now with my diet. EC helps to control that though. I haven't had trouble staying dedicated to lifting though, that has been what I look forward to every day. But eating is another story. Good luck to everyone else, and thanks for providing the inspiration I need. I'm going to continue on with what I'm doing and hopefully keep seeing results.

Concerning my pics on exfatkid.com
Just to let everyone know. I did not use any products from exfatkid.com. They stole my pics and I am in the process of taking legal action. Everything that I used and did are listed on my profile page or in a thread. Thanks to the people who let me know that they were using my pics. I will keep you guys updated on how it turns out.

Woah, that is terrible to use your image like that. Some people are just that pathetic.

I've been following this thread ever since I started lifting.
It's been an inspiration from the start.
I wanted to share some pictures once my progress was clear and evident.
So here we are now, 9 months later:
1st Pic ( Before ) , 2nd / 3rd ( After )
( Meant to post in skinny thread sorry )

Yes he can prove they are his! If they are really his he can show new pics with a current newspaper to prove it (Not that he needs to do that for us, but for his lawsuit), and of course he can easily also do it other ways.

Seems like they've gone ahead and replaced your pics with pics from this other forum's post: forum.teretana.net/viewtopic.php?t=13321&start=0. They'll probably keep replacing the pics they've harvested until someone doesn't complaint. Disturbing

Well man, You've posted ur pic so theres no looking back now! There are alot of ways you can go about cutting. Obviously being in a calorie deficit will be the first step. Do lots of cardio ofcourse. Also you can do an EC stack to help you. Or do what many others do and do a keto diet. Look in the nutrition section of the forums.. There is a whole forum section devoted to keto diets. Good luck !
