bulking update
hey everybody. My bulk is going great. I'm being very patient and putting on .5-1.0lbs a week. I'm sure I'm putting on a small amount of fat, but maybe none at all. I just had to punch new hole again in my weight lifting belt during my deadlifts today! All together I've gained about 5lbs in the last 30 days. That's great because in the past I would have put on 20lbs in 30 days, but been fat! Consistent diet definitely pays off. Keep training hard everybody.

I've been rooting for Phil Heath all year, he has such incredible genetics..... but he has yet to figure out how to hit his peak at the right time. I think with a little more experience and muscle maturity, he has a chance to string a few Olympia wins together, as Haney did. But MAN, I never though Jay Cutler would be able to improve himself like he did! He may have a few more wins left in him too!

Branch Warren did a great job! He did some guest posing here in OKC the weekend before the Olympia. Great shape! I was out of town, but a buddy of mine got to go.

That's awesome! Keep that up throughout the colder months, and you'll be a monster on the beach next summer!

don't get me wrong i LUV Kimbo but i knew he was not going to win against boy roy but after seeing next episode preview and dana's commentary i'm hoping he will make a comeback . . .
PS - not sure which was funnier; rampage's analogy regarding the moon or Dana?s comments about Roy frequenting every buffet in Las Vegas; lol!

I was fond of Dana comparing Roy to his daughter laying on him and punching him in the head. That win was weak. I bet Kimbo will come back.

Awesome! Keep my updated on how your show goes! I think you had said you placed 2nd or something to that affect at your first show? I'm thinking you'll be placing even higher this time. You are putting in the work and have a good company behind you too. That's great. Sometime if you get a chance send me a PM telling me about your first experience with a show. I'd like to do one next year and like hearing different people's perspectives.

I hope it does, man! You did such a fantastic job at gaining muscle during the contest. Gaining muscle without gaining a bunch of fat with it is no easy task. Glad you posted the stuff here too. I will keep watching and hoping it all works out for you.

Yeah, but who knows if there's going to be one. When it would be. And when it would be announced?
I'm still plugging away. Currently doing the Palumbo diet Sdilly was doing during the contest. Started that last Wednesday.

Thanks for the heads up. I kinda figured it would go that way though. Low low carbs like that has to affect the glycogen. Not too worried about strength, just want the rest of this fat off

How many lbs a week were you averaging on fat loss? Curious what to kinda expect. What were you doing for cardio? All LISS? How long and how often?
