low carb vs. low fat ???!

i have been following a low carb diet/lifestyle for the past 6+ years or so.... it worked wonders the first few years....i then fell off the wagon for a bit and started eating "regular people food" when i began working in a 9-5 job setting. my activity level also decreased and i gained unwanted weight. when i tried dieting low carb again i didnt really get the same results as the 1st time..... should i give it some more time or should i try a different diet??? helllllllllllllp :'(

How are your energy levels? Mine would be in the toilet with so few carbs. The most important thing is total calories though. What's your current calorie level? How much protein?

my energy levels have improved since ive slowly added in more carbs....i can definitely get a LOT more cardio done thats for sure.... im trying to consume 20 gr. of lean protein 5-6 times a day, i find if i go over that i add size too quickly and tend to retain water...
ummmm i think my total calorie level would be 1500-1650 ...i dont have any cheat days, i feel too guilty afterwards, maybe i should change that.... ? lol
