do u miss out on anything by not eating?
Hello i eat enough to have the energy to get thru my 2 day push/pull workout and gain strength everytime i workout but i dont have a consisten diet. Do i miss out on anything by not having a consistent diet? I thought if i balance my eating, workout frequency and rest, that i will still have the same gains as with a proper diet, just spread out over a longer period of time. Is this correct?

if your goal is to put on muscle mass than of course you do. Anyone who has went from a varied eating pattern to a consistent caloric plan has seen greater degrees of success. So if you have the discipline, I would urge you to keep track of your calories and eat a variety of food consistently and you will be happy with your progress.

Im saying that if i dont have a proper diet yet my workouts are optimum, will i actually MISS out on anything.
Or
Will it just take longer to see gains?
It seems as long as im eating enough that i dont plateu or over-train yet, not having a proper diet will simply mean it will take me longer to get the same gains i would with a proper diet. Is this correct?

Without consistency, you cannot truley understand what works and what does not. It's a shot in the dark, unless you have a structured program.

Put it this way, a BB at the local GNC once told me;
'For any physique you strive to sculpt, results are 70% Dietary, 20% is Workouts, and 10% Supplements'
I don't think he was far off with that statement.

More like 10% towards rest.
Supplement is sh*t and should only make up like 2% or none.

Thats all i wanted to know thanks. It will just take longer to reach my goals which is fine because ever since i started my new routine i've been gaining strength with every workout. So the way i see it is the more i eat the more i work and i seem to be managing that just fine. With that i've seen satisfactory results in the mirror so i couldnt ask for much more.

LOL at 0% supplements.
Does this include protein shakes?, creatine?
I think its a bit more than 2% but yea rest has a big part to play in building size.

Well put it this way, building your body doesn't neccesarily require whey protein powders and creatine products at all whatsoever. A good diet with lots of food and tons of calories, combined with heavy weights, is more or less the "important" parts of building size etc.
Depends on the person's perspective.
Oh, and by the way, i despise %'s when they're used like that lol "Yeah meng it's 65% training and 35% nutritionz!! .... nahhh meng it's 75% diet 25% workout!!". Sounds so nooby lol
*pukes* :P
