interesting thread idea.
I don't hate this car but i hate that they called it a GTO. It's ugly as **** and a shame that this is the best they could do with updating the design:

i did the same thing you did.
you cant generalize like that. you see or know one or two people like that, and you automatically assume that all vette owners are the same, so you dislike the car?
ignorance anyone?

This car pisses me off for the same reason shaftoe hates the GTO. An impala SS? are they serious? They threw some aluminum/polished rims, SS badge, and small sh*tty v8 into a front wheel drive plain jane sedan and called it a SS model. Way to go Chevy. Seriously one of the most "blah" designs ever, and it's supposed to be a sport model.

Actually off the top of my head I'm not "exactly" sure. Not my car...
I just know he always was taking it to the local Chrysler Stealership.
1. Something with the transmission slipping.
2. Electrical things <---nothing too major, but would be annoying if I actually owned it.
3. The rotors warped like non other after a year or so of owning it.
4. There was more, just not exactly sure.
He took it to the Stealership multiple times.
My car has had ZERO problems in 72,000 miles. Not one bulb has gone out. Only thing that I had to replace was a front left headlight leveling sensor. (obviously besides fluids, brakes, tires)

HAHAHHAHA that is bull**** bro, a 98-02 camaro/transam run 13.2 stock, I took mine to track w/ headers exhaust and a lid and ran a 12.6
The new camaro SS runs around low 13s depending on driver
The 50th anni vette does run low 13s high 12s depending on driver, no way in hell a tacoma runs low 13s, the 85k vette you are talking about is a 08-09 and those run low 12s stock so your full of it

oh my god hahaha YES! My uncle gave us one of those (a '97 with 160k miles on it) and it was the biggest piece of sh*t ever. Never heard something rattle so bad when you closed the door. It was falling apart. We took care of it and the engine still blew within a year (and supposedly it was overhauled before given to us). We also have a '95 Nissan sentra that I take to school here in philly and its the most reliable, awesome little piece of garbage ever. Closing the door on that car is like the first day you got it, no rattles or anything.
