Trying to get into fitness modeling

Im 21 and I live in a small town in South Dakota so it is hard to get in contact with someone in this area for fitness modeling. It would be a great help if someone could point me in the right direction.

Get photos and description of yourself on modelmayhem.com; that is an easy first step. If you got a distinctive look that sets you apart, so much the better. Keep lean most of the time - its hard when bodybuilding to stop growing and reverse course and diet down. Done that! Keep around 8 bf; you'll have the abs and definition enough but skin will still look good.

Also, look up modeing agencies in bigger cities close to you (I'm guessing Minneapolis, Omaha, Kansas City) for agencies in those towns.

Also, look on craigslist.org in cities close to you. There are legit modeling opps. on there but some don't pay.

And go to the bodybuilding shows close to you. Always photographers there and they do publish pics in regional health and fitness magazines. It's a first step.

Hope this helped.
