and the strength training ppl are so frustrated they go on a riot on bb.com every time bbers call one of their exercises as "dangerous" yet everyone always bash bbing exercises and bbers don't give a ****. considering the site is bodybuilding.com, this is funny as hell.
personally, i don't care how strong the core of the guy doing squats with 135lbs on a bosu ball is. that guy doing 600lbs squats for a few reps will be much much stronger overall.
i know a few of these "core" guys in real life. i always catch them doing stupid bosu ball moves...and guess what? they are all recovering from an injury
life isn't a jackie chan movie (thank god). doing circus moves will not impress anyone. hence why there isn't any ridiculous bosu ball events in strongman or in any strength event worldwide. leave it to the out of shape 40 year old beta males who go to the gym to escape their wives and the attention whore women to make a market success out of those giant shaved balls.
also, just for the sake of this thread, not all bosu balls are strong enough to support someone lifting weights on them. most gyms will have the cheap ones. i've seen these things break up before. i wouldn't trust that bitch if all i did with it was sit on it while i was in front of my computer.

Why do you think the old stories tell of men who set out on great journeys to impress the gods? Because trying to impress people just isn't worth the time and effort.

oh well the threat is always there. I here they are going to start recruiting for the top defense agencies at the cirque de soliei. They are already functional, now all they need to learn is how to clear a room.

turkish get-ups, but they're usually done with a dumbell or kettlebell.

That Funny Full length barbell thing

Am I missing something, or is this some weird training exercise for something i don't know about?

Dang, I was just watching that clown doing exactly what you are describing and you just can't help to be like WTF? It's not like his physique is off the chain either. Plus, you have the kid yelling in the background! The whole thing seems kind of comical.
Hey if you workout in bally's at Hollywood the comedy really never stops with some of the silliness you see
