Ole Miss is more than likely going to be the odd man out and lose to LSU and Bama. And then whoever wins between LSU and BAMA should go to 2 IMO. The Loser between LSU and Bama shouldn't fall as much as the winner should jump up IMO.

They were outplayed vs. Ohio State as well. Trojans were lucky to win that game. Except for the first and last 5 minutes of the game, USC looked awful in Columbus.

Yeah. Actually a 3-loss team will probably be top-15 this year haha. If say Bama or LSU beats both of the other schools then they should jump Texas.

LSU plays Florida.. so I don't think they'll see a top-5 spot early this season unless they can pull it out.

and with the # of legit opponents USC has left, anythings possible. Though I don't expect to make a NC run. Cal is scary good. Only team left I'm really worried about tbh. if they did jump Texas, Texas would just jump right back to #2 when they win the big 12 championship, so it doesnt matter....thats the beauty of championship games in both the sec and big 12....impossible for there to be a #1 and #2 from the same conference if they have championship games....unlike the big 10 and that OSU/MICH garbage that happened few years ago

Penn state/ole miss/cal are all really quite good matchups, as are florida/texas/bama. Just a few weeks in and I feel like the AP is already working itself out. Ole Miss will lose, penn state probably will too, Cal should take USC down. Texas could lose to OU, etc.
