Thanks mate been keeping carbs on the cut on about 200g daily - so it's probably more medium than high. did 30% protein 40% carb 30% fat.
Are you sure the "gain" from carbs isn't just water weight?

water weight and some fat but it seems like I retain more water than the average person lol. Im at 12% or 13% bodyfat and when I pull my skin it ripples fast(read the supersite about water retention) btw I went from 20 something to my current bf %

around 2 years from 55% body fat to 14%. Now I am trying to bulk up because my body frame is just to wide for a lean look.

2500 cals was my maintenance and I ate about 2000 cals along with heavy lifting to lose that weight. I did cardio and sports when my friends wanted to, but other than that none. And thanks man =)

was the 2500 maintenance taking into account the activities u were doing already (gym, the little cardio u were doing) or just ur sedentry?

273lbs. down to 189 and roughly 10% BF in 7 1/2 months.
lost 84lbs. and finally getting ready to start a lean bulking cycle. it will be nice change from the calorie restricted diet for once
also started out cutting with the 40/40/20 diet. then towards the end went to a carb cycling keto diet which worked incredibly well for me!
hit a couple plateaus along the way and had to change some things up.

It only takes into account the weight lifting I did.
