Preparing for a contest, when to arrange photo shoots?

Hi,

I am two weeks out from a competition and i am planning to arrange a professional photo shoot session because i will be at my best (hopefully).

So when would be the best time to arrange the session? What i think is that it wouldn't be wise to take it before the competition since my energy level will be low and muscle glycogen won't be replenished fully.

I won't have time the day of the contest, so would it be a good decision to do it one day after the show. Would my body retain water immediately after the show?

Or are there any points i should be careful about. I know i shouldn't eat everything that i missed during the cut phase

Thanks

I've done one shoot 2 weeks out because I was still full and almost stage ready and It worked great ( my avi was actually 2 days before the photoshoot pre contest), i've also done one 3 days after a show, just had a small binge AFTER the show then went back into diet 2 days before the photoshoot: I was looking very full and bigger than on stage. So if you can control your post-contest binge I'd say arrange it after your contest ( 2-3 days ) so you'll be fresh and full. Hope it helps
