Worst two weeks of my life. Every time I pissed it felt like i was pissing out broken glasS (srs) and the stent was all the way into my bladder/kidney so the pressure on my bladder made me have to piss every 10 minutes literally. I literally wanted to die lol
Oh and to top it off, and the end of the two weeks I had to be fully awake and given no anestesia or anything while the nurse pulled the stent out of my dick

My doctor told me it was hereditary from my father who had a bunch growing up.
I blame it on creatine, but what do i know i am not a doctor.

That's how mine went down. I would get into a hot tub of water which helped the pain go down and it got to the point of vomiting from the pain. At that point i knew something was wrong ( i didn't know i had a kidney stone) and told my girlfriend to call the EMS. They got their and i couldn't move without causing more pain, but they hoisted me on the stretcher and drove me to the ER.
It was funny because i was naked the whole time and was even trying to get on the stretcher naked. i didn't care and was in to much pain to keep caring, but my girl stuck some sweats on me before we left.
I am sure the medics were lulzing the whole time at me.

If you live a healthy lifestyle i wouldn't be as worried. I was told i would have more but haven't for 8 years.
Also if you start having pain and know it is a stone then you can go to the doctor and have it taken care of immediately. Which i would assume involves a cathertor going through your pee hole for epic penetration.

Good luck brah. I went to the E.R about 2.5 weeks ago. End result was, I had a 10mm stone, that was blocking my ureter from the right kidney. I opted for lithotripsy instead of getting sliced open, most of it got pulverized from what the dr's say. Still recovering though..
I definitely feel your pain man. Good luck.
