well, I did it for a full 8 days, ending with the refeed on Friday (a little above maintenance). I originally planned doing it for 2 weeks but by Wednesday I was like a zombie - seriously crashed and felt like fainting during rowing (when Lyle says no hard cardio - he means no!). It definitely WORKS but it's awful. I don't honestly see how people stick to this for more than a week - I guess that's why it's called a 'crash diet'. I'm eating normally again now and my weight has settled at ~149lbs. It was 153 the morning of the first day on the diet. I probably lost about 2-3lbs of real weight during the week which is "good" but not worth the hell of the diet. I'd rather continue eating at non-starvation levels and lose a lot slower, and still be able to function doing fun stuff like cardio!
Anywho - to catch up:
Thursday: Brutal rowing. Inside on the erg because there were like tornados outside. We were in teams of 3 on 1 erg, 30 mins to get the most meters. Very hard.
Friday: Did full body weights before refeed. Nothing special. Didn't lose any strength, didn't really gain any so meh.
Saturday: Rest and eat.
Sunday: Tabata circuit as seen on last page.
Today: Skipping tabata. (20sec on/10 sec off x 8) x 5. Almost forgot how great skipping feels! Perhaps should not do tabata 2 days in a row.
I'm going away for a week on Saturday then moving for uni, so i'll probably get in 1 upper session, 1 lower and some more cardio/conditioning this week.

Soooo, I worked out, went away for a week, worked out some more after, then moved on Sunday to my newwww school and new place of home for the year. New gym too
Oh and I have no kitchen cause i live in residence so i have to eat at the dining hall which is pretty weird
Did legs and ran intervals today, nothing really special in terms of weights :[
Trying out for rowing soon. Still not sure it's a good idea cause I have to do really well in school this year and rowing requires a 15-20 hour commitment per week (aka intense).
I might log all my workouts.. don't really feel the urge atm

hey greg
I ended up not trying out for rowing and running a 5k for charity instead (same time slot ). I have to maintain a high average in school to stay in my program and graduate so i'm gonna commit this year to focusing hardcore on school, volunteering, student council so i'm chosen for an internship in a few years.
Did upper weights(really quite half assed) and 2 cardio sessions since last post.
Lower weights last night. This gym is confusing because some of the weights are in kgs and some lbs. Converted to lbs after the fact but i didn't know what i was doing.
Atg back squat
45lbs x 10
95lbs x 8
107lbs x 5
133lbs x 5
133lbs x 5
95lbs x 20 (mmmm)
RDL
115lbs x 10
115lbs x 10
115lbs x 10
not too hard..
Lying Ham curl
50lbs x 10
60lbs x 8
60lbs x 8
different machine than other gym?
then did 2 x 5 mins on the erg (around 1200m each).. this still kills me
Stretched and walked home.
I don't know what I weigh but i'm sure I haven't gained... food is too gross here
