Finally!
This is the best idea yet.
IMO if you are not a big enough person to allow someone to have a different opinion, than to get pissed off and NEG someone. You do not need to be on the boards anyway.

seriously, you're gonna tell me you have NEVER seen ass-kissing or fear-cowering because of high-rep reps?...and you can say, that that never +ve or -ve influences user decisions to buy? how long have u been here? Its bb.com...unfortunately its infamous for that kind of behavior.

me neither, if i may, i retract my comment.
however, i contend with your view that sees reppage as a 'use', while i have seen it more as 'abuse'.

I can't speak for each and every companies on here but... I like to think our customers are loyal to us representatives. It's been discussed before, there's no reason to embelish a review when you think the product didn't actually meet your personal expectations. You paid for this, you can now express your feelings without having to bash the company. There's a way to say it. I've always seen honest feedback from people who've tried our products, no matter what our rep power is.
Depending of the problem, we can always try to fix it. Mixability? Try with a shaker bottle instead of a glass and spoon. Flavor? Try this one instead, we don't taste the same things, etc. I'd never neg for a bad review and I lol at people thinking it would be a tolerated action from our boss in the first place.
EDIT: That's all I'm going to say here on this topic. If you want to keep the discussion alive, let's take it to PM.

This is a very important point and one I think that is overlooked. Being a rep is a big responsibility. Every time you post you are representing that company. Everything you say is a reflection of that company. You need to think about that before you hit that "submit reply" button. If you cannot conform with the rules simply don't be a company rep. There is a trade off when you take on that role of a company rep.
I can't believe that people actually are upset about this rule. I don't think I've ever negged anyone on here.
If the rep system was being abused (it's obvious that it was with all the rep trading threads) then this is absolutely the right decision.

Why do people complain about the rep trading threads?
Now I never participated in them myself, but wasn't there an entire section on this site devoted to it??

Agreed...and once i brought that up in another thread, some reps came to chime in that since they were on an internet board, not really a 'paid' job in the traditional sense, the above didn't necessarily apply to them. Oh brother...

I wish more people demonstrated their understanding of this. By and large, most reps do. However, the recent rep issues, well, let's just say how a couple of people have handled it does not exactly represent anyone well, including themselves.
Really, I have no idea why so many people are 'rep this', 'neg that'. Grown-ass men crying over red and green dots.
<sigh>

I am not reading all the posts but if you need to make silly rules like this just get rid of the rep system....while I understand its probably annoying getting all the complaints its just as stupid that I can go in the Misc and post stupid crap or pictures and get a bunch of rep points....
get rid of the system...cure the problem not the symptoms...

I think this is a great idea. We're here to support and promote SportPharma products. Negative repping and getting into any other bickering that doesn't lead to a positive outcome would take away from what our goal as a company is. Company reps on a whole have a responsibility to conduct themselves in a light that would always reflect positively for the companies that they represent. As much as I would love to go off topic and post in other sections, that's not what I'm here for and it's a sacrifice that is made so that I can best represent the company.
