This Is How It Will Be: A Training Journal Of Madame Espion

A place to let myself know this it indeed can be done.

Welcome, I plan on using this forum to chart my training, diet and various thoughts regarding this journey I am taking.

TRAINING: 5 days per week
CARDIO: 30-45 Min. Interval training (HIT) @
FOOD PLAN: Clean-chicken, fish, vegetables, PB, Oats,Grits, Sweet PoTo's, Egg Whites,Tuna- You know the usual!
SUPPLEMENTS: Whey, Creatine,Glutamine, Multi Vitamin, Fish Oil, Iron, B12, A, E, C
WATER: 130 oz. day

So this is what I have been living like for the past three weeks. Fabulous I know. It has taken me some time to realize that this is how it is going to have to be done. I have started to see real changes for the first time in a while. I always did train, but was not seeing results becuase of my diet. I have reformed the diet and now have a better outlook on what my possibilites are. So feel free to give me encouragement, advice, a swift kick when you see me slacking!

Wednesday 8/13/08

Today was good. Leg day I told myself when I woke this morning the squat was going to be my friend. So with that said when I got to the gym I hit the smith machine after doing 30 minutes of cardio. I usually do 50 lbs when ever I do these things. I know they are one of the best exercises ever but I have been avoiding them lately. So I threw up 100lbs +the bar. I knew I was going to be uncomfortable but I got through three sets. Thank God. So I have officially raised the bar. I am sore already from doing that will probably wake in the morning and have to shuffle to the bathroom, but I will be glad I did it. My new strategy is to go heavy for a while. My diet has been good I 'd even say excellent so I just want to step it up alot in the gym. The rest of this week I am going to play around and see exactly what I can or cannot handle. Set my new status quo's for the next couple of weeks.

I have faithfully been getting my gallon of water in. Not bad I just hate that I have to use the restroom at least 15 times a days. Oh well, everything comes at a price.

My creatine supplement is having an effect on my training. Good I have been looking for something to give me a little more energy. I train in the evening after work so I definately need the help.

So tommorow is another day. Chest and Arms! Here I come.

8/16/08 Saturday

OMG! So I switched up my training today. 30 minutes HIT on treadmill and then I hit the weights. Keeping my heart rate @ apx. 150-165 for the majority of the training portion. I feel like I have nothing left. I had a good nights sleep but now I don't feel like doing a damn thing for the rest of the day. Plus it is raining so that gives me another excuse to lay around the house. Oh well, I got my training in for the day at least . So here is how it went......

LEGS:

SQUATS 145X10X4
DEADLIFTS 65X10X4
LEG RAISE 10X4
CALF RAISE 145X12X4


SEATED LEG CURL 70X10X3
LEG EXTENSION 100X10X3
CALF PRESS 80X12X3
LEG PRESS 220X10X2 240X10X1

So it is no different from what I normally do except for the fact I am use to taking longer rests between sets. So this turned out to be a bit of a challenge to keep the tempo up. But I know this will work which is great. I am really starting to see and feel the changes I have been longing for. So for now the rain is too much to resist at the moment I am going to let these priceless muscle fibers relaxxxxxx......

9/8/08 Monday

So I have been out of the gym for two damn weeks. Running from Hurricanes is not easy to come back from. It just messes up the whole gym routine and the eating gets disaturous when I am away from home. I think I thrive on routine. So today is monday and I am making it my business to get back on track. I am going to walk with my daughter and then I am going go and hit the gym for my me time. I am thinking about changing my diet to Keto. I have been clean eating for a good month, but the evacutation threw me for a loop so I need to shock the system. I usually do well on Atkins but start to cheat so with Keto apparently I have a day to "carb up" so we will see. I'll check back in later to log my workout.

Unhappy Saturday 9/12/09: Gonna try this again

**Sigh**I am here. Back here to start this all over again. This past year has finally caught up with me and now I weight almost 25lbs heavier than this time last year. I don't even know what happened to tell the truth. All I know is that mentally I am at a really low point. I have been dodging the gym for the last 6 weeks. Just sad.....Well everyday presents a new opportunity to change things. I will wake up in the morning and hit the gym. I know it is going to be uncomfortable but it has to be done. I cannot and will not get bigger than I am now. What perplexes me is that I can still wear all of my cloths. IDK why because 25 lbs is alot to gain and still fit the same sizes. Oh well that doesn't matter cuz I can guarantee that I don't look the same in them .....So just like before I will post my workouts and thoughts here to document my progress. Peace.
