Do you consider ronnie unhealthy? Why is it so damaging on the body to intake this amount of protein?
But about the complex carb sources, good advice.

If you're such a hard gainer..... you need more calories, not protein.
If you haven't even started your bulk yet, you might want to start out at a lower calorie intake and see if you gain. If you don't, keep adding 500 every week until you do.
And FYI Ronnie Coleman is NOT natural.... and he's a 300lb elite bodybuilder. So 2g of protein per 1lb of body weight is ok for him. Not really necessary for the average joe.... and funny thing is you go and one up him. Just because you're a hard gainer doesn't mean you have to go nuts.

A good way to add quality calories to the diet is to consume 1 US gallon of whole milk per day. This will surely put weight on your frame.
And at 5,000 calories, I wouldn't stress too much about protein/carb/fat intake. If anything, eat more fat than carbohydrates, simply because they are more calorie dense and will probably be healthier for you in the long run. If this isn't a concern, then eat away, but why not replace protein shakes with whole milk? Drink a few cups here, a few there, and work your way up to a gallon.

I've been on this diet for about 6 months already only gained about 10lbs, and almost no increase in fat.

True, but there are many people who put just as much stuff into there bodies as he does. Yet they don't even look half as good. When its comes to proffessional bodybuilding, there are no hardgainers because, every proffessional bodybuilder is chemically enhancing themselves...A hardgainer who is doing the same stuff as a mesomorph is not going to be able to compete simply because the mesos will always be one step ahead...
Besides this diet is the only diet so far that has produced results for me. I wasn't able to gain **** for weight before i started eating 5,000 cals a day...

Lol, yea, Ronnie Coleman is REALLY UNHEALTHY. He has lots of health issues, goes to the doctor several times a week and has a pill stash that looks like a whole pharmacy.
Look it up man, it crushes your liver and kidneys, produces ammonia within your body when you intake too much, creates acidity which robs your bones from calcium and creates a susceptible state for your body to harvest disease in. Please don't take my word or anyone else's for it, go read A LOT and you will find the truth.
And who the hell wants to look like Ronnie anyway, my brother saw him in NYC a little bit ago and said the dude is OBESE. Just cuts real well. His body is not sustainable, not practical, and not healthy. Those muscles or full of plasma and when he gives them a chance to rest and relieve themselves, they turn nasty because they aren't healthy.

10 lbs? that's not a lot at all dude. meat has such a high thermic effect, app. 30 percent of calories are used for digestion, so you are not netting as many calories as you think. if you tweaked your diet the right way and stayed at 5,000 calories you would be gaining 3 lbs a WEEK easy with no fat increase. I eat 50+ percent carbs and tons of fat, and I have no fat at all too.

cut off 200g protein and put it all in carbs... specifically fruit, and maybe some vegetables. 300g protein is way more than enough, 500 is just going to cause you pain on the toilet

you are taking entirely way to much protein- If your doing this for a very long period of time you can damage your kidneys, also your going to upset your stomach and have gastrointestinal problems due to the onset of your bodys adaptation to make more acid - for the protein.
I am currently 183 @ 8% bodyfat and I take in around 140-150 grams of protein per day. The magazines that tell you 2.5 your bodyweight or whatever are trying to make you buy more protein powders etc.
Look at the FDA requirements and then look at noteable scientific studies; if anything you should consume protein contingent on your LBM..
As of the Carbs/fat issue, if your a hard gainer then you should be consuming as much carbohydrate as possible. Hard-gainers have faster metabolisms and what your metabolizing quicker then others is energy/ carbohydrates not protein.
Get your excess calories from carbs
cut your protein down
quite wasting money on expensive supplements
quite buying into hype

How often do you lift a day, or get other exercise. 5000 calories for your size, over six months, and you only put on 10lbs???????
Echoing what many have said too much protein. Too much protein can cause stress to you kidneys, heart, and other organs. If you have been doing this for six months, get a full male panel, and check you levels.
Stay healthy, or the mortician may be seeing you......wait a second?

You should probably figure out how to gain weight from food & exercise before starting a superdrol cycle.

Well as far as supplements i get my myofusion dirt cheap doing that gnc scam lol and other then that all i take is multi/joint. So i wouldnt say that im buying into hype.
But as far as your advice goes, I hear what your saying, but im just nervous to cut down on protein because everybody is differenet, and maybe i need more grams then the average person. But I'll try switching my protein for carbs and see how it works out.

Da **** man? I've gained 10lbs in the past 6 months eating 5,000 calories a day. I think thats pretty ****ing good. I've been lifting for about 2-3 years and only when i started on this diet did i begin to make progress like that. Personally i think gaining 20lbs a year of pure muscle with no fat gain is pretty ****ing good.

I didn't read any **** on the last page, but you are 6'2 175, no reason to even think about PH or AAS right now; you have a long way to go before you need them. Not to mention you're 21.... jesus use your head

The roids coleman takes enable his body to be more efficient at nutrient partitioning, thus making his body able to actually make use of the protein. Regardless, 10 lbs of pure muscle in 6 months is quite good, but are you sure this is actually the case? How are you sure you haven't put on fat?

Well I haven't taken my body fat but i am pretty freaking skinny, If my bodyfat has increased it hasn't increased enough to make a visual difference.
