That's right, it is September. Hadn't thought of going. Usually the pre-judging is always more exciting to me than the evening show. I probably should go, since I competed in it for two years straight.

Just moved to the Dallas area about a month ago. More specifically, I moved to Addison which is like 5 min. from Dallas. Just kind of starting over. I run at a park connected with a local college, and I'm working out in my apartment right now; but I'm about to join the Addison Athletic Club.

PBS Documentary - Seeking Texas Body Builders
To Whom It May Concern,
I am with Powderhouse Productions, a television production company located
outside of Boston. We create shows for Discovery
Channel, History Channel, Science Channel, National Geographic, Animal
Planet, PBS and other networks. We are currently working on a 4 part
documentary for NOVA on PBS about material science, covering the history
and future of the materials that make up our world.
One section of our show will be with a professor from the University of
Texas, Dallas, who works with artificial muscles. To talk about this in a
visually interesting way, we'd like to have the professor and our host
talking about the artificial muscles with a few body builders around to
show real muscles at their finest.
If you might be interested in participating in our production, please let
me know. We will be aiming to shoot this scene on November 23rd or 24th in
the Dallas area. It should be an interesting shoot and great exposure for
all involved.
Also, if you have any suggestions for an interesting place to shoot the
scene, we'd love to hear them. We'd like to stay away from the typical gym
type setting, so something like a muscle beach or other visually
interesting location would be great.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Daniel Parsons

Howdy! Just started at 24 in Bedford in August. Been in DFW a while but I'm still trying to find my way around and get used to the city.

Hey guys, I just found this page. I am in Allen and I work out at Express Fitness in Allen and in Plano, depending on where I am. Just really getting into weightlifting as I used to just run when I wanted to lose weight and not make any other changes. I am now in the process of changing my life for good and stop with all the yo-yo jazz.
