Need a protein for cutting
I was taking the optimum complete protein diet It was kinda expensive though I'm just gonna cut this month with lotsa of cardio workouts. Can you suggest a good Protein shake and protein bar for cutting. I work on a small fishing boat and their aint ****t for room to workout. Last week of fishing though.

Have you tried ON 100% Whey? It's about 30 servings more for the same price. It has been the cheapest thing I could find on the market for good protein.

For cutting I perfer drinking protein with water, to that end I think Dymatize Elite whey and ON protein (chocolate and chocolate-mint flavors particularly) do pretty well in water. Keep an eye on slickdeals.net for some great deals on protein every few weeks, usually around ~30 for a 5lb tub.

Just a thought, but fish is a pretty good source of protein!
that is unless you are absolutely sick of eating it.... which i can't blame you.

Muscle Gauge Nutrition protein is the least expensive out there if you buy it in bulk.

I like the ON 100% Whey. 10 lbs. for $80., which is just over $0.50 per scoop or $0.02/gram of protein. There's always chicken, tuna, and sirloin as well.

Barbells and Dumbbells are not food. Lifting them does not make you bulky.

All the Whey and EAS are relatively cheap, but Dynamatize and ON are not much more expensive at all.
Canned meats an option?
