Exclamation Swelled up??

I had a problem a few months ago and I was wondering if anyone had any explanation or science behind why this happened to me:

I started cutting body fat and I fell into the trap of eating to little to fast. I feel like an idiot for doing this but I all of a sudden I was eating about 1400 calories tops a day with about 15g of fat and about 16 grams of carbs. It was a little ridiculous and it went great at first but then all of a sudden I started feeling really fatigued and my ankles started to swell very noticeably. Then my midsection started to swell massively (like I looked like I was 30% body fat around my midsection) then the rest of my body swelled as well. I gained almost 15 lbs of what looked like water in about 3-4 days. I was on AAS at the time (prop & tren) for about 5-6 weeks (not my first cycle nor was it the first time ive done either of those) and I had a small knot in my right quad and I pinned into it a few days before. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it was the diet or the AAS or a combination of both? Much thanks in advance.
