im gonna come out and say ive not got a bloody clue. after monday and tuesday's bloodbath i cant see today being any kind of reversal. ive been warned by someone who knows a lot more than i do to stay out of stocks this week, so im going to take their advice and just monitor things, maybe with a couple of small punts.

I'm down like 10% on ATVI. I picked it up a while ago and plan to hold it until they release the new Starcraft and Diablo as I expect record profits from both games. However, I just don't see why ATVI continues to go down. It's actually got a decent short ratio compared to other game companies, and I haven't seen any terrible news come out for ATVI. I hope it goes up lol.

if you look back at big game releases you will notice that the stock price doesn't move up much on the release date, rather the date that the release date is announced. which is hard to play unless you have an inside ear.
especially buying gamestop shares around halos release date or GTA's release date, look back on those dates and you will see the share price doesn't definitively move the way you would expect

I did not know that google message boards could have that much influence
http://www.todaysfinancialnews.com/e...rank-9933.html
The thread:
http://finance.google.com/group/goog...f828566?hl=en#
Cliffs: CTIC shareholders got punk'd by someone spreading false news on google messageboards. Not sure if I can believe this or not.

CTIC looks like a good buy btw, its only in the 1 dollar range as of now, but this stock used to be worth 2k. might rise back to the 100 levels, who knows.

so everyone was saying that the unemployment numbers will dictate the direction of the market today..
the numbers weren't good...and we rally a hundred points?
it really is a guessing game.

ADMP.ob Just starting to breakout. It has half the float of Bonu, a healthy RSI level and is a sleeping giant.
I couldn't find this thread so I started my own a bit back.

Well that...or go with the direction of the sector and/or broad market and you'll more than likely be fine...maybe.

Perception and expectation. Numbers were bad, but payroll numbers were better than expected.

You can negotiate prices. They are pretty damn flexible. You won't get a rock bottom IB style rate...but then again IB's platform is garbage, their data is sub-par and I've heard their customer service sucks.
You can either pay for a good platform & data, or pay for a broker that gives you all the above and great CS. No free lunch in life fellas.
