Keto foods on the run
So today I was out and about, and starting to get hungry since I hadnt eaten anything for a couple hours. I didnt really plan ahead and I didnt figure I would be out that long so I had to improvise and figure out what to eat. Went to a closeby safeway and picked up a carton of 33% milk fat cream and a bar of mozzarella cheese. I had the option of peanuts, but figured cheese has more protein. First time I ever really drank cream, its surprisingly not that bad. Some might think its disgusting, I dont mind.
What kinda on-the-go foods do you guys happen to eat when youre in a tight bind?

Peanuts, almonds, string cheese, pepperoni, and beef sticks are my favorites. I always just grab some out of the fridge/pantry and eat in the car.

In a tight bind a simple double cheeseburger from burger kind without the bun or sauce would be ok.
All burgers from takeout joints in fact would be ok, without the bun and condiments.

but how would you find the macros of such a meal? how do you know how that bunless burger impacts your daily intake?

When I'm out and about I usually only go to
In and Out- double cheese burger lettuce wrapped, with no tomato and substitute the thousand island dressing for mustard.
Carls Jr. - $6 burger no tomato or ketchup, ad mustard.
these are cheaper though: Famous star with cheese lettuce wrapped no tomato, no ketchup, add mustard
Chipotle - Burrito bowl no rice or beans, double steak or chicken, add cheese, sour cream and extra lettuce and go some what easy on the green chili salsa.
You really have to be careful and check your burgers before you go, there's been a couple times I drive off and there's a bun or they add ketchup.
And I wash every thing down with water or unsweetend iced tea.
As for the macros you can find nutritional info on their web sites and there's also a few calculators on the net. I've been doing keto almost a year and I don't even count any more, it almost comes as a second nature.

You can get the macros on burger king and mcdonald websites. 2 McDoubles does well for my meal. As does two western bacon cheeseburgers from BK.
Minus bun of course.
Surprisingly, a lot of fast food and dine-in restaurants offer the nutritional information on their websites. I usually pull up a site before I go out to eat. just to make sure there is something that I can have at the restaurant without sacrificing my macros.
