home boxing/mma gym, mats?

just wondering about the right mats i should get, i was intending on gettin 40mm puzzle mats , its predomantly a home boxing gym, with a power rack and weights, but i want to practice a bit of ground game too,( not much room for sparring or rolling , just practice techniques, i leave most bjj to when i train at the club) i was also wondering if there stable enough for boxing on,

Those puzzle mats are ok. I used gorilla tape to tape the seams together. They always peeled apart when I was changing direction or pushing off. They are a decent option. I also did 2 layers worth for the added cushion for rolling around on.

that's a great idea jaycore, I wish I could get a home gym too. Too expensive for me at the moment. Judo mats are like 50 $ a piece I think, right??
