Got injured yesterday had a massive cheat evening
So played my first preseason game yesterday, got tackled into the ground on my right shoulder... bang AC joint injury. Luckily got it xrayed and its not a separation, but means 2-4 weeks NO training!!!! what am i goin to do? To make matters worse was feelin really sorry for myself and had the mother of all cheat days after it happened, obviously feeling a littel **** about that now, considering i cant train now. Anyone got any ideas? Im gonna b bored ****less unless i can train something, cant really use my arm, dont think i can do squats with a BarB cos of the pressure down on the shoulder.
Was meant to be starting a big winter bulking but dont want to start that nutrtion now i cant train with it!
Boo

Sorry to hear you got injured, but you need to realize accidents happen and an injury can occur at times. Try not to beat yourself up to hard, and do something like go out boundaries on your nutrition so badly.
You can still train your lower body, check out the Injury forum for more insight http://forum.bodybuilding.com/forumdisplay.php?f=91 and you will see your not the only one who injures their upper body and our out of commission for a few weeks, yet they still find a way around it. Good luck with your recovery.

Rest. Cardio. Lower Body & Core exercises so you don't lose mass there. Most importantly...
...stop feeling sorry for yourself and go kick some ass.
