Showing logged in when not
I have bb.com as my homepage (surprising) and even if I logout it
shows that I am logged in - I think it does -the little green guy is lit up.
Went on a different computer this morning to check it out and there was the
the little green guy. Any ideas - whats up...already on here enough - but not
as much as it might seem

I've noticed that too. The only thing I know is that I have to close out the browser page I used so that it stops showing completely.....do you leave your computer on all day on standby/hibernate? It could be the reason being you have it set as a home page...but I'm just guessing.

Yeah I usually keep it up and running so it doesn't have to find our wireless network each time - I hate waiting.

I hear ya....I log off all the time and lately my wireless has been giving me so many problems to get the signal, it's always at night when I'm trying to login to my online classes too.......but I think that's probably why you're showing logged in then. I think it's definitely a problem this site has and needs to fix....or add to their big list...

Maybe you're logged in from your phone too?
I've noticed that when I log out it sometimes shows me still logged in, but only for a few minutes.

I log in on my i pod touch alot ( same as i phone ) so that might part of problem
went with stealth mode - for now

An internet connection is not constant. In other words the bb.com server only knows when you last made a request/clicked a link so I am sure bb.com uses a standard time sense your last request to show you logged out. ie you last clicked on a link in the forum 10 minutes ago so it assumes you are still here, reading that page, but once there has been 15 minutes without any action by you it will assume you have gone back to surfing porn!
Session variables FTW...
